"Michelle?" I asked walking up to him.

"Oh hello Rory, your mother is in the kitchen," he spoke.

"Thank you," I smiled and walked into the kitchen.

She had coffee for her and coffee for me.

"Bless you," I grinned taking a sip.

"Just call me the pope. So what's up honey?" She asked smiling.

"Can we talk somewhere more private?" I asked starring at the coffee.

"Yeah, Yeah of course," she nodded and led me to the library.

"So? What's up? The suspense is killing me," she asked sitting with me.

"Logan. He is back. He uh he showed up at the newspaper. He said he was divorced and that he missed me... and he wanted to know if the girls were his," I spoke.

"Oh my gosh. What did you say?" She asked.

"I said what the heck! You can't just show up. I've moved on I'm happy. I'm in a really really good relationship with someone I love. And I told him... I told him the girls aren't his," I smiled weakly.

"You did, wow. Are you okay? I mean seeing him it must have dung up memories," she spoke.

"Yeah I guess. But I mean, he is still the same person I dumped same person I said no to when he proposed. And I love Jess. He is so amazing and he loves me, he loves the girls," I shrugged.

"Do you think-Do you think you made the right choice?" She asked.

"I don't know. But I mean Jess is an amazing father figure for the girls and they are so happy they are doing great. I don't want to flip their world upside down like dad did to ours when he came to town," I replied smoothing my hair out of my face.

Lorelei nodded thinking.

"Do you think I made the right decision?" I asked.

"I don't know kid. I don't know. I think you just have to go with your gut," she nodded.

"Thanks mom. I love you," I smiled.
