PHOENIX STRUGGLED TO keep up as she ran behind Finn. Her breathing was ragged and her side hurt. She had never run before, and she already decided that she didn't like it. It hurt.

Night had fallen, and according to Clarke they were almost back to camp. Phoenix didn't know how much longer she could go now that her adrenaline had worn off. It was safe to say, she was exhausted. But, the bright light of a fire was enough for her to keep going. They were finally back.

The group slowed down, except Clarke who took off towards Wells, who was in the middle of a fight with John Murphy. Phoenix let out a breath through her nose, swaying as she walked up behind Clarke and Finn. If she let herself, she could drop to the forest floor and fall asleep. In fact, she almost did that until Bellamy's booming voice cut through the night air.

He took notice of his sister's hurt leg, along with how Phoenix's hair was out of her braid, and she clutched at her leg tightly. Of course the two clueless girls would be the ones to get hurt, but he couldn't help but worry about his sister.

"Octavia, are you alright?" He questioned as he walked up to her.

She nodded, giving him a simple "yeah" in response. Her older brother turned to Phoenix and the others, his eyes burning into Phoenix's.

"What the hell happened out there?" His voice was rough, almost as if he were about to yell. He kept staring at her, waiting for her to say something. It seemed like he hadn't picked up on the fact that she didn't talk. Not even when her mouth opened to tell him what was running through her mind, but nothing came out. She looked like a fish out of water, and her lack of response angered him.

He stepped forward, and she just stood there, not realizing he was about to grab her. Clarke saw, quickly stepping forward, "We were attacked."

Bellamy stepped back, looking to the blonde for answers. Phoenix stepped back, deciding to go sit by the fire as she and Finn explained what happened to the others. As she sat down, she noticed the guy from yesterday, John Murphy, looking at her. He was eyeing her, as if he wanted to say something, but the bored glint in her eye caused him to scoff.

"Are you ever going to say anything?" He asked lowly, to which she immediately shook her head no. She wouldn't speak to him, ever. She didn't know any of these people, except Finn. She didn't even want to talk to him, but she felt like she would have to eventually. Maybe it would be different for her if he actually visited like Raven did.

"Cool," he nodded before walking over to where the group was. Phoenix quirked her brow as he walked away, thinking that he was a little odd. She glanced back over to them, listening to Bellamy telling everyone not to listen to Clarke because she was privileged. Even though she was alone, she rolled her eyes at Bellamy's words. God, what a dick. Was he always like this?
