Authors note :

This is some shocker news I just heard and found out about hair.

"Don't oil your scalp"

Honestly I never knew that tip myself, I was just casually going through this hair blog when I saw the command, it felt like a command to me. Don't oil your scalp, I'm like why the hell not. but I eventually found out the reason which is that the oil or cream you apply to the scalp tends to block you hair follicles(the hole where your hair grows from on your head) and that's when I realized that makes sense.

So here's the new deal : don't oil your scalp.

Your moisturizers and creams should be applied to the hair itself not the scalp.

Random question: what if I have dry scalp,

First let me remind you, those tiny white flakes you see on your hair isn't dandruff it's actually dry scalp which is caused by dryness of the hair, so all you've got to do is moisturizer, nourish or cream your hair everyday or every other day.

I hope this news helps.
