Narrated by Ma'qil ibn Yasaar (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Marry those who are loving and fertile, for I will be proud of your great numbers before the (other) nations (on the Day of Judgment)." Classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawud (1805).
Ahlaam's phone buzzed endlessly as she sat on her bed, texting away in the especially active group-chat with her friends. With a plate of cake in her lap and a smile on her face, she recounted the day's meeting with every detail. And then began the teasing.
[9:23pm] Zaynab: ooooh, I can so imagine the scene. Ahmad was probably eating peacefully, enjoying his food while u were ogling I bet!
[9:23pm] Ahlaam: yh totally, with BOTH of my parents right there.
[9:24pm] Azza: You can't use sarcasm to mask the truth, Ahlaam. We know you ogled.
[9:24pm] Hameeda: This is so cute, our little Ahlaam's gonna get married! These are our last days with her. Soon she's gonna get married, move to America, and forget all about us.
[9:26pm] Azza: She's probably already forgotten us. I'll bet right now she's just caught up daydreaming about her beloved Ahmad and what it's going to be like when they marry. He'll come home with a bunch of flowers and chocolates while Ahlaam prepares a candlelit dinner with soft...nasheeds playing in the background
[9:26pm] Zaynab: LOOOOOL
[9:27pm] Azza: We just need to figure which one is their nasheed. Which one screams AHLAAD?
[9:28pm] Ahlaam: Ahlaad?!
[9:28pm] Azza: Yh, meeda and I decided that that's gonna be ur ship name. u like it?
[9:28pm] Zaynab: Cute! And speaking of names, we need to come up with a codename for Ahlaam's loverboy just in case anyone ever overhears us talking about him.
[9:29pm] Hameeda: true, true.
[9:29pm] Azza: lemme think...
[9:29pm] Hameeda: what do we know about him?
[9:29pm] Zaynab: besides Ahlaam being madly in love with him?
[9:29pm] Azza: I got it!
[9:30pm] Azza: Ok so Ahmad's from America, right? And we can relate America to American Football, which has the Super Bowl, right? So, what do you eat in a bowl? Soup!
[9:30pm] Ahlaam: Seriously?? Soup?! That's the best you can come up with?
[9:30pm] Azza: Well...will anyone else ever figure out who Soup is?
[9:31pm] Ahlaam: No, because it's so stupid!
[9:31pm] Zaynab: But it does the job! I like it.
[9:31pm] Hameeda: I approve.
[9:33pm] Ahlaam: I DON'T!
[9:33pm] Azza: So Ahlaam...u thinking about Soup ;)
[9:34pm] Zaynab: She must be, look how long it took her to reply!
[9:34pm] Ahlaam: It was 2 bloody minutes! I put my plate in the sink.
[9:34pm] Zaynab: yeah, sure. Someone contact an imam ASAP, this girl is ready for the nikahhhhh!
[9:35pm] Ahlaam: shut up, shut up, shut up.
