Once the private jet landed on the tarmac, Lilianna practically sprinted to her car. She fumbled pulling her keys from her jacket pocket and unlocking her Volkswagen Beatle. Closing the doors and locking them, she tried to calm her breathing and focus on driving home.

Hardy Wallon was the professor of psychology at Stanford University, and when he recruited her to be his partner she had just completed her masters at the same university. Once she had her Ph.D., they started working together on a few projects, and then came the Vendetta proposal. After they had agreed to take on the madman, they were relocated to Newfoundland, Canada in order for them to easily access the prison in the northeastern waters. They had been provided with small houses in Gander to live in while on the extensive weekly project.

The five-minute drive from the airport to the government provided house felt like an eternity to the shaking Lilianna. Upon entering the house, she flopped onto the couch and curled into a ball, trying to cope with the events she had experienced that day.

Just as she had gotten her hands to stop shaking, and her breathing evened out, her phone rang. Her heart leaped, causing her to let out a small scream and grip her chest. Reaching for the cell phone, she answered and tried to sound as calm as possible.

"This is Dr. Lillianna Price of Stanford University, how may I help you?"

"Hello Ms. Price, this is Dr. Kaloo. I'm friends with Dr. Wallon, I was one of the former therapists assigned to Mr. Vendetta." The young male voice on the other end of the call said with pep.

"Oh yes, Dr. Kaloo. A pleasure to be speaking with you." She sighed with relief.

"Yes, it is a pleasure indeed to be speaking with one of America's greatest Psychologists. If it's not too much of an inconvenience to you, of course, I would love to ask you down questions about Mr. Vendetta and his current position. I hear he has spoken?"

"Oh yes. He verbally responded to me during our session today."

"How remarkable. After three years of selective mutism, I'm surprised you managed to get something out of him. How did you do it?"

"I just spoke to him like I would with all my other clients. I guess he felt comfortable with me in comparison to the other people he has been exposed to which allowed him to be more confident and vocal." She shrugged, walking to her kitchen and grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Very interesting. Were you able to get any decent information about himself and his gang?" The doctor asked with no emotion. This caused Lillianna to scrunch up her brow in confusion. Why would he ask about the gang Vendetta ran?

"No. I didn't get anything really decent and helpful. Why do you ask?"

"I'm curious about what he told you, what he said after not saying anything for so long."
