I walked in carrying bags, when I saw him. He was sitting on the couch. I had no idea who was but he was gorgeous. I carried the bags in the kitchen and set them down.
I started to put things away when the guy from the couch came into the kitchen.
"Nice tats," he remarked.
"Thanks. Did you need something," I asked him.
"Just needed a drink of water," he said to me.
I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, handing it to him. He took it from me.
"So, who are you? I know Antonio but never met you before," I said to him.
"I'm Morris or Wade, if you talk to Rain," he said extending his hand. I shook it and felt an immediate spark.
"You nice to my sister," I asked him as I let go of his hand.
"She's really cool and funny. I'm glad Antonio introduced her to Adrian and me," he smiled. Damn he had a nice smile.
"That's good because a lot of people are mean to her," I said as I put stuff away.
"You're Cole, aren't you," he asked me.
"She talks about you and Luke often. You were also the one that came to pick her one day," he said to me.
"Yeah. Usually Luke does but he got held up with class. I usually cook her food," I said casually.
"Yeah I kind of figured when she got upset," he said to me.
"We're use to it," I shrugged. I finished putting stuff away and got a mug down. I needed coffee.
"You don't say much, do you," he asked me.
"Not really. Luke is more vocal than me. Rain is more direct. I prefer to do my own thing. People think you need to have a lengthy conversation but I never felt the need for it," I told him.
"I noticed that," he said.
I didn't know what to say. I usually don't say much and this guy seemed like he said enough for everyone. I don't know why Rain thought I should ask him out.
"Well, I got to go," he said as he turned and started to walk away. Then he stopped, "if you ever want to go out, let me know. I think you're kind of cute," he winked before leaving and there it was. Wade was flirty.
Yeah so not my type.
When Rain mentioned her brothers, I had no idea how hot Cole was until he showed up to pick her up. Figured I would strike up a conversation and be a little flirty to see if it got his attention. It didn't.
He was a lot different than I imagined. Really quiet. Hmm, maybe I need to think of something else.
I decided to talk to Adrian. Maybe he had a suggestion. I told Rain goodbye and left.
