Zoe's POV
"Who-o-o are you?" I asked
"The name's Zander." He replied in a deep soothing voice that radiated power.
"That's perfect." I dreamily said to myself.
He chuckled.
"What?" I said
"You think I'm perfect?" he smirked.
"Wait what? Oh shoot did I say that out loud?" I gasped
"Yep." he said popping the p.
"And you are?" He asked.
I was lost in his hazel eyes that seemed to flicker from blue, to green, to a light brown. He was a good three to four inches taller than my "small" height at 5:10.
How long had I been staring? I thought to myself. My eyes wondered around the room and back to him repeatedly.
Zander look down at me and pulled my chin up so our eyes met.
"I'm up here." he said.
I blushed shyly a little embarrassed that I had been caught staring but not ashamed.
"So once again I ask the beautiful lady in front of me to tell me her name." He said dramatically.
No one has ever called me beautiful before." I stuttered.
"They don't see you the way I do." He said.
My heart melted right then and there. "My name is umm Zoe." I said.
"That's so beautiful." he whispered.
I gave him a quizzical look.
"Did I just say that out loud? He asked.
I reached out to give him a hug and he returned the favor.
"Yes, yes you did!" I said with a laugh.
Then he whispered in my ear and said "Good, I'm glad you heard it, and don't you ever forget it."
There is something about him, I though to myself. He looks familar, Do I know him? I don't think so. Somepeople just have that feel to them, right?
