Standing there broken
You turn to walk out of my life
Struggling for the words
Shattered inside
Through tear stained eyes
I watched you leave
Praying you won’t go
Afraid to beg you, please
Scared of not having you to hold
Fighting through the pain, refusing to hide
I open the door, running outside
Calling out, “Please, don’t go!”
The look in your eyes
You couldn’t lie
I could see the pain
As you looked into mine
No words needed to be said
As you pushed me against the wall
Kissing me hard
Refusing to let go
I don’t care what people say
I only know how I feel
I need, I want you, I love you
My feelings for you are real.

PoetryJust some old love poems for someone I use to know. Now he's a thing of the past, but these poems remain to remind me that I did love someone once, even if it wasn't truly returned in the end.
