“Mia, I need help,” I shouted hoping she could hear me from her room.

“Olivia, it is 7 in the morning. What could you possibly need my help for,” Mia asked while standing in my doorway in her pajamas looking a hot mess.

“Do you think this outfit is okay to wear on the first day?”

“Seriously? Any outfit on you would look good.”

“Mia, that’s not what I meant. I want guys to look at me. I want to find a boyfriend, I’ve been single long enough.”

“You look great, and that white shirt really makes your summer tan stand out even more,” Mia replied.

I was wearing my favorite American Eagle shorts and a simple flowing white shirt topped with a pale pink scarf and bracelet.

“Now can I go o back to bed,” Mia asked.

“Yes. Sorry for waking you, I just need your opinion,” I replied.

As she was walking away I heard her mutter something along the lines off, “I can’t believe you signed up for morning classes. What are you some time of alien?” I chuckled. I’m not an alien I’m just a smart human being who wants to have her afternoons free.

After touching up my makeup and deciding that I looked flawless, I walked out to the kitchen to make breakfast until I realized that I was running five minutes late. So instead I grabbed a granola bar, slipped on my American Eagle flip flops, and headed to my car.

Once I arrived at school and found parking spot it took me another twenty minutes to find my class. Thankfully I made up those five minutes and an extra ten minutes, so I was only ten minutes late to my first class, Psychology.

“Well may I ask what your name is,” my professor said as I walked in looking for a seat.

“Olivia Sutton,” I replied.

“Mrs. Sutton, I will give you an exception this time. But next time I expect that you arrive to my class on time.”

“Yes mam, it won’t happen again,” I replied as I searched for a seat. To my infortune it was in the front because everyone already took the back seats. At the same time, though, I ended up sitting next to a really hot guy named Callum.

Wait a second, I knew this guy. OMG! It’s the guy from the mall. Man, I must really have some bad karma because out of all the guys that go to UNC it had to be creeper guy who I was sitting next to. At least this time I knew his name.

“Alright class, my name is Professor Noll and you are in Psych 2012. Today we are only covering the syllabus so that I know you guys understand the due dates and what I expect out of you on your assignments.”

As the class dragged on I tried my hardest not to look over at him. I didn’t want him to get any wrong impressions or for him to even know I recognized him. To my relief, after what seemed like forever, Professor Noll finally announced dismissal.
