september. 2010

Finn slowly walked into Sean's office to see Millie and Sean standing next to eachother. Millie instantly walked over to Finn and grabbed his arm. She could tell he was a bit shaken up by the look on his face.

"Is Mike okay? Did you get it to him?" She questioned worringly.

Finn swallowed hard and took a deep breath. There was no way he could tell them the truth of what went down. Both Millie and Sean had great respect for Mike. They both looked up to him and Finn couldn't break their hearts.

"Yeah. He's fine." The boy muttered. Millie smiled and pecked his lips.

Sean awkwardly rubbed his mouth with his hand while watching the two lovers. He dramatically cleared his throat which caused the pair to jolt slightly.

"I hate to break up the touching scene, but Mike gave me some instruction for you two." Sean began.

Finn almost instantly got nervous. He thought he'd eventually get used to being anxious and on his toes all the time, but the normalization of his anxiety never happened. Just a few simple words still made him deathly nervous. All he could do was try to ignore his emotions.

"You two are supposed to meet with a woman named Ellen Hayes at the Bluebird Cafe, tomorrow at eleven o'clock in the morning. She worked for Dom before everything went down. Apparently she wants to help you guys." The lawyer added.

Millie didn't know how she felt about the possible addition of this Ellen Hayes to their clan. She liked being the only girl amongst them and she started to get a tiny bit jealous.

Finn on the other hand was uneasy simple because he knew nothing about the woman. Her name sounded familiar but that was it. He had no clue as to if she was trustworthy or not.

All they could do was meet with her and find out.

_

"I don't like this." Millie whispered as she and Finn walked through the doors of the small restauraunt. Finn sighed and began to scan the room for any sign of the woman they were supposed to meet with.

He agreed with Millie to a certain extent although he felt that they should atleast give her a chance. In fact, he had a feeling that he'd be able to get the names of the witnesses from Ellen.

"Over there." Finn stated when he noticed a middle aged woman with short blonde hair and sunglasses. She looked exactly like the person that Sean had described to them.

They slowly walked over to Ellen's table and took seats across from her.

"Hello." Ellen greeted them a moment after they sat down. Millie grunted quietly while Finn simply nodded.

The only boy at the table took a deep breath and exhaled. "I have two questions for you. Why did you want to meet us and more importantly, do you know the names of the witnesses that were arrested?"

Finn didn't want to waste any of his time. He thought it would be best to ask the important questions right away.

"I can grow your business exponentially." Ellen responded.

Finn pursed his lips. "If you don't know the names of the witnesses, then we have no use for you." The boy retorted.

The only thing on his brain was taking out the people that could expose him and Millie. He didn't care about making money at that moment. He simply wanted to keep his loved ones safe and sound.

"I can give you the names." She stated after taking a sip of her tea. "But I want to help you expand your business into a more active and more profitable marketplace. What do you know about the Czech Republic?"

"It's a place in Africa." Millie blurted out. Finn instantly elbowed her after the words left her mouth. She furrowed her brow at him and crossed her arms. She genuinely thought her answer was correct.

"There's a higher demand for meth there than in any other place in Europe. 5% of it's ten million people are using meth. You keep your market here, but by adding overseas sales you can more than double your current profits. Also, I checked. The average purity over there is around 60%. They've never seen anything as good as your product. You'll blow their minds." The older woman stated.

Finn was very intrigued but also very cautious. It sounded almost too good to be true. He obviously wanted to make more money but it was a big risk.

The boy with curly hair slowly shook his head. "Shipping internationally sounds really dangerous."

"Look, I have the connections. I still know tons of people all around the country that worked for Dom. His operation was much larger than you even realize. Once the people that were arrested are no longer a factor, things should tidy up nicely." Ellen did her best to be convincing.

"This is what I do. I move things from point A to point B, all over the world." She added a moment later.

Finn nodded and pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket. He then grabbed a pen from Millie and wrote down some of his contact information to give to Ellen.

"Let's get to work." He said with a slight smile on his face.

Although Millie wasn't too happy with his decision. She didn't trust or even like Ellen. She felt like this whole thing was going to end in a giant disaster for everyone.

As the two teens walked out of the restauraunt and towards their vehicles, Millie stayed rather silent. Mainly because she didn't really know what to say.

"I don't know why we can't just kill her." The brunette girl muttered. Finn's mouth went slightly agape and he chuckled quietly.

"Look, I don't like her either. But she has the opportunity to make us millions of dollars." Finn retorted.

Millie stopped walking. "You're being sexist."

"What?" The boy answered with a scoff.

"She deserves to die just as much as any man I've ever met." Millie retorted. Finn laughed and continued walking.

Much to Finn's happiness, it seemed like nothing bad was coming to come out of the situation with Mike.

For once, everything was going exactly as planned.
