"ANNIE!" I heard my best friend shout from down the corridor.

"Hello?" I said, turning around swiftly and seeing him leave his dorm.

"What do you want Lix?" I asked, he chuckled as he walked up to me.

"There's a party at Chris-hyung's House tonight, do you want to go?" He asked, putting his keys in his pocket and throwing on his backpack.

"What time?" I asked.

"8 late." He said.

"Sorry Lix- but I've got lots of work and I'm tired at the mom-"

"All the more reason to come! It's a Friday, you've got to relax Annie-" He said, and I nodded.

"I'll see if I'm up to it later, ok?" I asked, and he nodded too.

We walked together down the stairs before going out separate ways to our lecture halls.

I sat through a Geography lecture, twirling my thumbs because I was slightly bored as the teacher went over the Demographic Transition Model, which we did many years ago.

At midday the lecture finished and I hurried to grab lunch from a café before going to a small class where we discussed methods of data collection.

It was maybe 3 o'clock when I got to the library and started reading the books to write my essay.

At 6, after working solidly for 3 hours, I went back to my dorm with a few books and ate ramen before cracking on with some more work.

It is my second year at University and I've gotten used to the way it works with reading lists, essays and lectures. I work much harder than a lot of people in my hall, but that doesn't seem to bother me.

My phone started to ring at 8 o'clock, and the number read Lixxie.

"Hey Lix, what's up?" I asked.

"Are you coming or what?" He asked, as I heard heavy breathing and some muffled voices on the other end.

"Are you with someone?" I asked, ignoring his question.

"I'm at Chris-hyung's House." He said, louder than before as I heard music turn on in the background.

"I've not finished my essay yet." I said, checking the time. It was 8:25, it took 30 minutes to get to Chan's, so I'd be there towards 9. I just didn't really want to go. Parties aren't my scene.

"Screw the essay- have fun for once Annie-" He said, chuckling

"I would-"

"Come on bestie- please?"

I couldn't say no to Felix, it was bad but I could say no to him. I just can't.

"Fine- but I'm going straight home when it gets awkward."

"Fine." He said before hanging up.

"Bye to you too-" I said, chuckling and saving my word document before closing the laptop.

I brushed through my hair and put on some cleaner clothes, skinny jeans and a white crop top, before throwing on some converse and going out the house.

I got on a bus to Chan's, arriving at the large house which he shared with some of Felix's other friends, I think, Woojin, Changbin and Minho?

The music was blasting through the windows and lights made the house look as if it had been enchanted.

I stepped inside and was immediately pulled by a tipsy Felix towards the kitchen.

I grabbed a cup before filling it up with water and leaning against the counter top.
