Unexpected love

Chapter 8

I arrived at my parents house around 3:30pm
I actually made some desserts and asked the maids to help me carry them out. My mom was inside the kitchen drinking a cup of juice and looked worried.

"Oh Honey, you're here! How are you?"

"Hi, mom! I'm doing good how are you? You ready to cook?"

"I'm doing good too baby and yes I am. Are you much better without Raphael? Lili, honey the reason I was is because yesterday your dad and I saw Raphael with another woman at this restaurant."

"Look mom I know your worried I may go back with Raphael, but that's not going to happen again. Raphael did hurt me, but that's just a lesson I had to deal with in life."

"That's my baby! The Hernandez family has a son which I'm hoping you'll meet him"

"Mom, I honestly don't want to deal with someone right now, it's just I need a break."

"I only want the best for you, but if that what you want then I won't bother with that anymore."

My mother and I finished making dinner around 5:30pm and I went upstairs and got ready. I brought some extra clothes just Incase I stay the night. I was putting on my blue dress and started doing my makeup when my father knocks on my old room. "Come in."

"Honey, you look beautiful."

"Thanks dad. Is everyone here?"

"Your welcome. Yes, your brothers and sister just got here. Lilian, Honey did your mother tell you about seeing Raphael yesterday."

"Yes, father she told me earlier. I know you guys are worried about me, but I'm not going to make the same mistake and go back with him."

"That's my daughter. I'm proud of you. I know you were going through a tough time, and I want you to know I am very proud of you.

"Thanks dad."

My dad hugged me and we went downstairs. The Hernandez just arrived when we where coming down.

"Cesar and Rosalie Hernandez it's so good to see you guys here. This is my daughter Lilian, Miriam and her husband and daughter, Esteban and his wife Isabel and Alfredo and his wife Susan.

"Pleasure is all ours, you have such a beautiful family. Says Mrs. Hernandez"

"Eduardo, my son Chris called me told me to apologize to your family he's running late, there is lots of traffic.

"There nothing to apologize, Cesar you guys want something to drink?"

I excused my self and went towards the kitchen and grabbed my mom and let her know that the Hernandez Family is here.

"Oh honey, you look beautiful. I was just checking on the food. Thanks again for your help."

"There's nothing to thank me mom. Come on let's go see the Hernandez. Dads probably looking for you."

I waited in the kitchen with my niece Amy and where talking about how she was with going to school and having tons of friends. I love my niece to bad she's the only niece I have. My sister had mentioned about planning on having another baby, but she wanted to wait until Amy was at least six years old. Since Amy just turned four two months ago, and is a smart little girl for her age. As for my brothers Esteban and Alfredo they recently got married last year.

As Amy and I were going to the main living room I heard the the door bell and went towards the door. I was thinking it was the son of the Hernandez that was late I then opened the door. I looked up and was not expecting to see him again. Everything started looking black.

I woke up minutes later, I was laying on the sofa and the first person I see I Chris which looked worried.

"Thank goodness your awake honey. Are you okay? My dad says"

Then all my family along with the Hernandez asked if I need anything.

"Im okay, thank you"

"Luckily Chris got you before you hit yourself. Honey this is Christopher Hernandez my dad says"

I looked up to Chris and thanked him. Few minutes later we all went to the kitchen and Chris decided to sit in front of me. I was totally not prepared for this.
