Body filled with fear
as a lone tear
runs down
my face.
But what could I say
to the me of today
that would change
my pace.
What could I have told
to the little girl
smiling in the picture before me?
That the world was cruel.
That guys were all tools.
That some best friends were fake.
To be careful on dates.
Dont let people in.
Its hard to fit in,
Beware of being yourself.
People use you for wealth.
The list can go on, fvck
I can write my own song.
But nothing could warn the girl
in the picture of what was to come.
She would have to learn it on her own.
And hopefully
she survives.
