Disclaimer:

The following is a fanfiction retelling of Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy, with elements of the original story fused with characters, situations, and ideas from the "Legends" continuity. Star Wars belongs to LucasFilm and Disney, and any material taken from the old Expanded "Legends" Universe belong to their respective authors and creators. I don't own anything (and that includes whatever images/things I used for the cover).

Author's Note:

Hello, this is a retelling of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first of a trilogy retelling the Star Wars sequels. Before anyone asks, this story was initially made in the months following the release of The Force Awakens (though trailers for The Last Jedi and the movie itself have helped to motivate me in planning out and writing this trilogy). In my opinion, TFA is a film which doesn't have the same creativity that I've grown used to seeing in the original trilogy and the heavily flawed Star Wars Legends.

Therefore, this is meant to be a re-haul of the post-Return of the Jedi continuity, so expect a ton of differences from the released sequel films. Those differences will includes original characters and others from either Disney canon or the Expanded Universe, as well as use of my personal thoughts/theories/ideas and the rumors before the release of The Last Jedi. As this is a complete overall, please don't expect this story to follow any established continuity or to follow the same beats as The Force Awakens or the other Star Wars movies because I'm trying to avoid doing that.

Also, expect a new update every other Thursday.

Special thanks:

Really huge shout-out to my pre-reader, SubtleSaber. He was there at the beginning, when this story just started out as a mere prologue of a simple TFA AU fanfiction, and he has helped to look over every single chapter since then. I'm not sure what I could've done without his advice. If you're reading this, thanks man!
