Hi my name is Selena Quintanilla and I'm eleven years old. My family and I moved to Compton when I was six comptin is ok it's just too noisey. My dream is to become a famous singer I'm already in a group with my sister and brother.
"COME ON SELENA LET'S START". My dad yelled
"But dad I'm sleepy". I said wiping my eyes
"Abraham it's too early for this now the kids have school, and they will not be sleeping in class". Mom said
"Marcella will you let me take care of the kids, you need to go back to sleep". Dad said
Mom walked away without saying another word.
"Come on kids let's practice". Dad said
The next day
"SELENA". Dad yelled while I was playing with my friends
"Dad come on I'm tryna play". I said
"No time for playing, you gotta practice". Dad said
"Why do i always have to practice i just want to have a normal life". I said
"You want to be a singer right"?. Dad asked
"Yes dad". I said
"Ok well I'm tryna prepare you for when you get your record deal, you have to show them that you're serious ok". Dad said
"Yeah dad i understand I love you dad". I said
"I love you too Selena". Dad said
"So does that mean i can play with my friends". I said jumping up and down
"Nice try now go practice". Dad said
