“I know Master and I’m sorry I disappointed you. That’s all I seem to be capable of.” I said, shaking my head and crossing my arms uncomfortably.
“In no way whatsoever have you disappointed me.” I looked up. His eyes twinkled down at me.
“Really?” He nodded gravely.
“I may have found some of your actions questionable but in the short amount of time I have known you, you have proved more mature than your years. I forget you are only fourteen years old. You have mastered the technique of the lightsaber and the Force very well.” I smiled.
“Thanks, Master. Is it true you were bragging to Rex about my abilities?” I asked.
Master Kenobi opened his mouth to say something and I raised an eye brow. “I don’t need to brag. It’s already obvious how advanced you are.” He said.
“Right, so Rex was lying?”
“I wouldn’t say lying…” Master said, not finishing his thoughts. I laughed.
“I hope we get another mission like this. I felt challenged.”
“Good. That’s the point is to be challenged and learn. However, the mission isn’t finished.” I looked up at him, confused.
“The factory is destroyed— what else is left?” I asked.
“I am giving you your own mission. Ahsoka has returned to Corvala to help her people. Go. Go to Corvala and do your best to convince her to return with us.”
“I don’t think that wise.” I said.
“And why not?” He retorted.
“I had a pretty heated discussion with her a while ago.”
“I am aware.” He said simply. “Now go.” I sighed.
“Yes Master. May I take Captain Rex with me?” I asked.
“Captain Rex!” Master shouted for Rex and he came to our position.
“Yes, General?”
“Go with Andora to Corvala. Be back by sundown.”
“Sir, yes, sir!” Rex responded.
