Coiling ropes of serpents in her hair,
hissing from the stony corridors of her desolate lair.
Statues evidently frozen in fear,
lining up the way to her cobblestone path.
Fixated by her primordial leer,
a glimpse into a haunting world of a rejected lover's wrath.
One of three sisters encapsulated by a vengeful loneliness,
beauty distorted by the bitter decay of holiness.
Chastised for betraying the light,
shunned for savoring glamour.
Jealousy bred her hateful sight,
her repulsive visage sought to blind with an ironic enamor.
Everything she's ever loved has turned to stone,
now her broken heart is left to rot all alone.
