happy 100th part:))

I can't help but smile at the beautiful sight in front of me. Finnick is sitting at the dinner table laughing with my younger sister. She giggles at his lame joke.

"(Y/N)?" My mom pulls me out of my thoughts, "Can you help me with this?"

I smile to them both and stand up and walk away from the dinning room with dishes in hand. I drop them off at the sink for my mom and head back out to the dinning room to get the remaining dishes. She calls for me to stop before I can get too far.

"Did you notice that you starred at Finnick for the entire meal? Because I did." She smirks.

"What are you talking about?" I ask while rolling my eyes.

"You love him don't you?" She questions.

I can feel my face flush with heat. I would definitely say that love was on my mind when I thought of Finnick. I'm not sure that he's on the same page so I haven't brought it up. All it took was one meal my mother for her to pick up on it.

"I have since the moment that I met him." I reply honestly.

She sets down the plate she had been scrubbing and pulls me in for a hug. I laugh at her overreaction.

"I knew it with your father too." Her eyes start to water at the thought of her young love.

"I grabbed the last of them." Finnick comes into the kitchen with a proud smile on his face. He sets the stack of dishes along with the others in the sink.

"Want to take a walk?" Finnick turns to ask me.

I nod, at a loss for words. I smile at my mom and follow Finnick out the front door. He pulls his hand into mine and I can't help but grin at the gesture. We walk the short distance from my house to the beach. The sun is setting across the water as it gets later. I kick off my shoes to walk in the sand and Finnick does the same. He looks back at me with a nervous look in his eyes.

"What's up, Finn?" I ask, I tug on his hand so he turns to face me.

"What?" He says while trying to act innocent.

"Something's up. What is it?"

Finnick looks out to the ocean for a second while taking a deep breath. He turns to face me again and has a smile on his face.

"I love you, (Y/n). Plain and simple. I love who you make me and I love everything about you. I don't know if it's fate, coincidence or even God that brought us together but I am so happy that it did. I know that it is not an accident that we met. After everything that has happened in my past I couldn't be more thankful to have someone like you in my now and future. I love you, (Y/n)."

I can't wait any longer, I have to pull his lips against mine. I pull him in for a fast and passionate kiss. I can feel him grinning against my lips.

"I love you too, Finnick." I say after finally pulling away.

He lets out a sigh of relief. He pulls me in for another quick kiss before peppering my whole face in kisses.

"I love (Y/Fn)!" Finnick yells loudly.

"Finn, be quiet." I say while still laughing.

"I love (Y/Fn)!" He repeats this time only louder.

I push him into the water and he comes back up and starts to chase me. I sprint as fast as I possibly can and it still isn't enough for his long legs. I let out a sequel once he finally grabs me around the waist.

Finnick continues to shout his love for me and I finally shut him up with my lips

Finnick continues to shout his love for me and I finally shut him up with my lips.

"I love you, Finnick Odair."

He takes my hand once again and we start to slowly walk back to my house.

"Alright, one down, one to go." He mutters to himself.

"One to go?" I ask.

"Yeah, I told you I love you. Next big step is asking you to marry me." He smiles proudly.

"Marriage?" I curl up into his side. "Already on your mind?" I tease.

"Since the moment I met you."
