"Goddess, let's go back!" Kokujin yelled to Tamie as he saw the bloodthirsty eyes of the awoken beast, and wanted to clutch her wrist and pull her back when suddenly the redhead man raised his hand and a large light ray emerged, pushing him off and attaching him to a cave wall.

"Kokujin!" Tamie got terrified - this beast would surely kill defenseless Kokujin if he wanted to!

However, then she felt an ominous presence right behind her, and shuddered, turning back, just to face that same redhead man who had come up to her in an instant, glaring down at her with fiery, but tired eyes.

"Ah! Get away from me!" Tamie shrilled and wanted to run off when the man's strong arm clutched her hand. "Ah, no!" she struggled to escape his tight clutch, but could not.

"Goddess!" Kokujin got preoccupied - what if that fiend hurt his mistress?! So he struggled on his part to get away from the light ray prison, but just like Tamie, he failed.

"No!" Tamie cried out and tears filled her eyes as she fidgeted around trying to release herself from the tight grip.

"Ta... mie..." she heard an unearthly, deep, almost demonic voice. Goose-bumps ran through her whole skin. She gulped and looked up at the ominous dragon-man, who still watched her with his fiery eyes right into her soul. "At last... we meet..." he uttered again, and raised his red-clawed forefinger to her face.

"Ah!" Tamie yelled and closed her eyes, tears falling off them.

She felt a soft touch on her cheek. She gasped and opened her eyes, gazing up at the young man again, who had wiped off her tears with his clawed fingers. She blinked - why did he seem... so gentle? What did he want?

"Tamie!" Kokujin still struggled to get free, worried about his mistress who had gotten in such peril.

"Hush," the dragon-man glared at him, and then glanced back down at Tamie, "You..."

"Huh?" Tamie gulped again - what was with him? Couldn't he speak normally?

"Why... have you deranged my peace?"

"I... I am sorry... I wanted to check on Byakuya..."

"Byakuya..." on the tired face of the young man, a vile smile flickered, "The child's fine..."

"Oh... Um, very well!" Tamie grinned. Sweat poured off her forehead at the same time. "Sorry for disturbing! We shall go, then!" she wanted to step aside when she felt the clawed arm had clutched her hand tightly and wasn't letting her go. More sweat poured off her forehead as she looked back at the young man whose smile had formed in a grin:

"Where are you going?"

"Um, h... home..."

"Stay. You won't have a meeting like this in every lifetime..." the man grinned, showing his sharp fangs, and clutched her tighter, pulling her towards him.

"Ah! No!" Tamie yelled again - now he surely wanted to eat her... She had to escape!

"Tamie!" Kokujin got worked up too and fought against the light prison. Damn it! Why all the heck happens in this fool's conscience?! He angrily glared at Byakuya who was calmly slumbering in a bed together with Debbie.

The man meanwhile bent towards Tamie's face and was about to bite her!

"Ah!"

She felt a warm touch. She gazed at the young man who had landed a kiss on her forehead.

"Tamie

"Tamie..." she heard his demonic voice again, "Take this," a strange golden thing was put in her palm by his clawed hands, "Help the child... avenge me..."

Suddenly, Tamie's whole view got blurred, and all she could hear were Kokujin's faint shrieks, calling her desperately until they too vanished, and blackness fell around, taking her into oblivion... When she woke up in distress, she was already in her own room in her bed, and it was a dark night. Kokujin was in her conscience... she hadn't forgotten him.

So we somehow survived? She sighed with relief.

Don't ask me. I don't remember a thing. Kokujin's grumpy voice sounded in her head.

Tamie chuckled - she was happy to be back from that gruesome place, and have Kokujin by her side. She was so scared she might lose him forever... But then, as she looked at her bedside table, she sprung in shock and almost yelled - there was a golden sun medallion lying, with a skull head depicted on it.

No, it was not a dream
