Madison's POV
"Come on Gray pick up." I impatiently plead as I walk up and down the room.
It's been around ten minutes since I text Grayson telling him I know where Emily is and I haven't spoken to him since and that's the only thing stopping me from going to get her right now.
"He's probably driving Mads, just sit down." Ethan's says patting down on a spot beside him on the coach.
I plop down beside him and let out a big sigh as I put my head in my hands. Please be okay Emily.
All of a sudden there is a knock at the door. Me and Ethan both spring to our feet making direct eye contact and I could tell we were thinking the same thing. It can't be Grayson because he has a key. So who is it?
I run to the door and as I am about to open it Ethan grabs my hand and pulls me behind him. He was protecting me as neither of us know who was on the other side of that door.
He turns the handle carefully and opens the door revealing a face slightly shadowed by the night.
Ethan clears his throat.
"Can I help you?" He says as the man steps a little closer not saying a word. I can see his face now. I cant believe what I'm seeing.
So many emotions flow through my body leaving me speechless.
Ethan examines my face waiting for an answer. He looks confused.
"D-dad?.." I manage to get out. Ethan's head shoots up at the man standing in front of us.
"Hey sweetie."
Grayson's POV
I run out to my car and turn the ignition on quicker than I have ever done before. As I left the house all I could see was Brandon watching from the doorway with his hands on his head.
I ignore him and begin to drive away. All I can think about is Emily. If anything was to ever happen to her I'd never forgive myself. This is all my fault.
*a few minutes later*
I pull up to our drive not even bothering to situate the car properly before swinging the car door open and practically lunging out. I run to the front door which is already slightly ajar.
Why is it already open?
I put my hand on the knob and slowly open it.
"Ethan?" I say slightly popping my head in the door.
"Finally" the familiar voice says as he approaches the door.
He opens the door and embraces me in a hug. I don't know what comes over me as my eyes become glossy.
"It's okay Gray don't worry, we are going to get her back"
"Hey E?" I say pulling away from our hug.
"She's in there." He says with his head now lowered.
He obviously knew I was going to ask where Maddie was.
"Well what is she doing we need to go" I say walking towards the door of the room Ethan has directed me to. Ethan runs in front of me and puts his hand on my chest to stop me.
"What are you-"
"It's her dad.." he cuts me off.
My eyes widen as I begin to get angry.
Her Dad??!!
"Why are you ok with this?!" I begin to shout as my jaw clenches.
"Bro it's okay. He just wanted to talk, he changed. He has been going to rehab ever since her and Em left" he try's to reason with me. I take his hand off my chest and push by him ignoring whatever he says after that.
"Oh he 'changed'? I highly doubt that Ethan. May I remind you that he abused her as a child, hm?" I yelled walking away from him.
I open the door and see Maddie sitting on the bed with her dad. I stop in my tracks "Where is she?!" I say my hands now in fists. She turns to me and stands up.
"Gray he doesn't know anything just leave him out of this please." She pleads with me.
"Why the change in clothes?." The man says standing up. I look at him confusingly as does Maddie. He obviously doesn't know me and Ethan are twins.
"The Guy you seen before wasn't me it's my twin brother." I say making direct eye contact.
"So your Emily's boyfriend then." He asks.
"Yeah he is." Maddie answers for me.
"Listen.." he says taking a step closer to me and putting his hand on my shoulder.
"I don't know where she is but I know who has her." He says trying now to look at me
"Who?!" Me and Maddie say in unison
"Her dad.." he says lowering his head. I begin to feel a burning sensation run through my body as I clench my jaw. At this stage Ethan was in the room aswell standing behind me and I could tell he was frustrated too.
"Why?" I say at this point I don't even care. I just want her back.
"There's no point of me trying to hide anything here because I haven't done anything wrong. The only thing I regret is not coming sooner..." he starts.
We nods our heads a a sign for him to continue. He lets out a sigh and starts.
"About a week after you two girls left, Emily's dad came to me. He told me he was going to get Emily and he was going to take her back... but it wasn't for the right reasons. He didn't want her back because he missed her. He wanted her back as a sort of punishment for running in the first place. I immediately told him no and he got mad. I guess I just never thought he would actually go through with it."
"I am sorry Maddie what I did it.... well it was unforgivable. Just know that I did love you. I was just broken."
"Do you have any idea where he could of taken her?" Ethan asks him.
"No I really don't. I'm sorry."
Just then someone phone goes off.
"I think it's mine" Maddie says as she takes her phone out of her pocket. He face goes pale as I see her eyes move from one side to the other reading her message.
"I know exactly where she is..."
