recap
the idea of us being with the same person never even crossed my mind. i always assumed we'd just have to work to keep our bond strong when it came time to meet someone, but this sounded like the perfect idea.
i think that's the only way things could work for us, we need somebody who would understand us and our bond but still appreciate us as individuals and grow to love us together and not separate.

that was the night we had made a pact that we would only be with people together, and one day we'd find the perfect person for us who would see how special our bond was and want to be apart of that and not break it apart.

we pulled up to the school, i told Dean to park right up front so we can get out of here easy when the days over. i hated traffic and looking at the schools parking lot i can tell that it gets packed when everyone is trying to leave here.

as Dean turned off the car i looked to him
"why can't schools ever send us our schedules without problem, this is so nerve racking to me to have to wait till we're here so know what are classes are gonna be like"
i said frustrated already, he just patted me on the shoulder and got out the car. i followed him and tried to just be cool about it. i know he's thinking the same things but he's always been good about having that stone poker face.

we made our way into the school, ignoring the stares and whispers, it was expected. we are 2 new kids, twins at that coming 2 months into the school year.
i smiled at some people who seemed nice, but besides that we made a B line for the office.

once we made it to the office, there was a middle age woman sat at the front desk. she seemed like she liked to bake as she was pleasantly plump, she looked sweet and i was glad, it was too early to deal with anyone rude.

we walked up to the desk and i leaned against it putting my elbows up and taking my pop out my mouth
"good morning miss thatcher"
i said as i took a peak at her name plaque
"we're the new transfer students and we stopped by to pick up our schedules, last name Blackwood"
i said with a smile at the woman.

"oh of course i know who you boys are, we don't get new students often i had been waiting for you 2, i had your schedules ready and some other flyers that got passed out this week so you wouldn't be left out"
she handed me 2 folders with each of our names on it, i gave Dean his.
"and here's the school handbook, and a list of extracurricular activities here, like sports and clubs"
i took those from her too and just held them.

"now i hope you boys enjoy your stay here, and you can always stop by if you have any questions. i suggest you head on out of here so you can find your first period before the bell, but on the chance you boys are late trying to find your way show your teacher this"
and handed us a little slip that let them know we were excused for our tardiness.
she reminded me of mom the same warm tone even as she told us what to do. i already liked her.
