- Listen Raf, I'm sorry I didn't call you. My phone was dead I swear! I'm not looking for excuses.

- Rea I was worried sick! For God's sake... Where have you been?, my brother asked worriedly on the phone.

- I was with Alec. He saw me walking down the streets alone and brought me to their old mansion. His brother and him started talking again and I just fell asleep there, that was a half-lie.

I hate lying to my twin brother, it was like lying to yourself in some kind of way. We are so close that it was weird and it didn't feel right at all, I mean, he's my twin! We are supposed to « read each other's minds » and stuff. We are always honest with each other, always.

- Zachary Marshalls? They did? Wait... Did you sleep in the same room?!, Rafael asked confusingly.

- What? No! Rafael, they lived in a mansion, not some kind of tree house. I slept in one of their guest bedrooms and have no idea where Alec slept, I explained with a sigh.

- Okay... Fine, he let out a relieved sigh before he asked. - Anyways, where are you right now? I'm coming to pick you up.

- I'm in Park Raynard, on an old bench, talking to you on the phone, I answered as I looked around me.

- I don't need the details sis, hope you aren't going to explain everything in details to me, he yucked.

- They say twins can see through each other's eyes, do you think that's true?, I joked.

- Rea stop it! God eww! I have a gross image now in my mind and I honestly hate you for it.

I bursted out laughing, dragging him into my happy expressions.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down. - Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes or so, be ready, he said before he hung up.

I sighed and took my phone in both my hands as I leaned against my knees to try and beat the slight cold catching up on me. Why didn't I bring a coat again? This jacket doesn't do it for sure. The trees were, in the contrary, slowly loosing their colorful fall clothes, leaving place to frosty brown branches. October was slowly starting to show it's true colors..

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Get it? Colors? Like.. Fall is the most colorful season? October? No? *cough* Ok... Uh, moving on.

After maybe 15 minutes of sitting on that park bench, I saw Rafael's car park right in front of the steal fence only a few meters away from me.

As I was about to get in by opening the passenger's door, Rafael decided to act like a gentleman for once and open it for me from the interior.

- Ok, who are you and what have you done to my rude brother?, I joked immediately after taking I sat on the passenger seat.

- I'm the brother who didn't get news from his little sister for a whole day after she walked off alone in town, he grunted without even looking at me.
