The Tritovore brought us to the destroyed ship. Instead of the beating heat of three suns, the inside was like stepping into a freezer.
Drax shivered. "Wow, this place is freezing."
"Drax. I'm leaving you for this ship."
"It's a wreck." Drax pouted.
"I can fix her." I replied, twirling in place.
The Doctor chuckled. Drax continued to pout. "Mmm. The hull's made of photafine steel. Turns cold when it's hot. Boiling desert outside, freezing ship inside. Since I met you, Drax, we've been through all the extremes." He narrowed his eyes at my husband.
"That's how I like things, extreme." Drax boasted. I snorted. I decided to marry Drax again. Taking his arm, I held it close. He beamed. "What?"
"You think Doritos are spicy." I teased.
Drax kissed my head. "Sorry I like having working taste buds. Ones that don't just want hot sauce and a thousand red pepper flakes."
"Terra! Look at this!" The Doctor knocked on a nearby wall. "Intact. It must have been magnificent. A proper streamlined deep spacer."
"Photafine steel, you said? Where could I find that?" I asked. "There a planet called Photafine?"
"Yes, actually." The Doctor cheered. "I'll take you later."
"No it's okay." I replied. He confirmed the planet. That's all I needed.
The Tritovore brought us to their captain. The captain tapped the purple badge on their jacket. It glowed. They chittered at us.
"Oh, right, good. Yes. Hello." The Doctor leaned over to me. "That's a telepathic translator. He can understand us."
Drax relaxed, sighing. "Great. I'm terrible at charades."
"But I'm going out on a limb and saying it doesn't work the other way around." I looked to the Doctor.
He was busy translating. "'You will suffer for your crimes, etcetera. You have committed an act of violence against the Tritovore race.' Tritovores. They're called Tritovores. 'You came here in the two hundred to destroy us.' Sorry, what's the two hundred?"
Drax raised his hand like a five year old. "Oh! Oh! It's the bus. Number two hundred. They mean the bus." He stood proud of himself, like the goofball he was. "Starry, they mean the bus."
I agreed to marry this man. This man is helping me raise our children. Six children and four animals call this guy 'dad'.
It made me giggle.
"Stepping in." I put myself at the front of this trio. "Hi. Hello. I'm Lady Terra Stardust. This is my husband, Lord Drax Stardust, and my former traveling companion, the Doctor. Our ship crashed here the same as yours. There's a wormhole forming on this planet. We fell through."
The Tritovore lowered their weapon. The captain chirped in agreement.
"I love you." Drax sighed, probably staring with heart eyes. "How do you do that? I never know how you do that."
"She's very convincing." The Doctor mused.
"And the translator says I'm telling the truth." I pointed out.
The Doctor grinned. "You've got an honest face."
"It's a very cute face."
I rolled my eyes at them.
"So, first things first." The Doctor turned serious, thank the Author. "There's a very strange storm heading our way. Can you send out a probe?"
The Tritovore captain chittered.
