"Zuha? What's wrong?" He asked worriedly while stroking her hair.
'Nothing Heiji I'm just too sensitive and sentimental' is what she wanted to say but she didn't say anything. Instead her hands were looking for Heiji's body and when she found him she immediately hugged him. Seeking comfort that way. She knew that her thoughts can get over the top sometimes, and she was hoping that this time was one of those times.
Heiji softly pushed her away so that he can move the tray away. When he moved the tray to the bedside table, he grabbed Kazuha and laid her on top of him as he laid down on her bed. "Heiji? When will I be able to see again?" Kazuha asked, "Because when we I start seeing again we have to watch Fantastic Beasts."
Kazuha felt Heiji's chest move as he was chuckling, "Well that was random. But I promise you that I'll take you there."
"Well aho what do you want to do today? We have school tomorrow so let's do something fun before we go to hell again." Kazuha said, lightening up the mood.
"Sure what do you want to do?"
"Umm I don't know, that why I asked you."
Heiji was struggling as he was thinking of a way to have fun without needing eye sight.
"How about a picnic?" Heiji suggested. "The weather is great."
"Sure! That's good."
About an hour and a half later Heiji and Kazuha were ready for the picnic. Kazuha wore jeans Bermuda shorts and a yellow top with her usual yellow ribbon, with Shizuka's help of course. Which was utterly embarrassing but she had no choice, since Shizuka was the only woman in the house other than Kazuha.
"Are you ready?" Heiji asked Kazuha after he securely tied the basket to the back of the motorbike.
Kazuha nodded and Heiji helped her sit on the motorbike, then he sat in-front of her. Kazuha wrapped her arms around him, hands on his torso clinging tightly. She didn't want to admit it but she was so scared right now. Even more than when she had to ride it for the first time. "Are you scared?" Heiji chuckled as he remembered their first dinner, reminding him of how they use to be compared to now. No one would've guessed that they would be in love with each other in the future, or even live together. They live together thanks to Heiji's parents who decided to take care of Kazuha as well or she would've ended up in an orphanage.
"No, I'm not." Kazuha denied.
"You know, you said the exact same thing before, and you were terrified." Heiji smirked as he said that, "Don't worry Kazuha, hold on tight, if it can get any tighter, and relax, we did this so many times before."
Kazuha nodded and she gripped on his shirt even tighter almost suffocating him. She didn't know why she was so afraid. Maybe the fact that she's temporarily blind is the reason she seems so shaken up.
"We arrived." Heiji said and he carefully hopped off the motorbike, then helped Kazuha get off it too.
"The fresh air is great." Kazuha commented as she put her arms around Heiji's. Heiji held the basket with the other arm and guided Kazuha with him to place that's under a huge tree and away from flowers because even though Kazuha loved to look at flowers, which she can't now, she hates insects with all her heart and suddenly hearing a fly buzzing next to her ear while they're enjoying their picnic is not an ideal situation.
Heiji put the blanket on the ground and the basket on top of it, then he and Kazuha sat on the blanket.
"Okay, let's see what my mom made for us."
I'm so sorry for the late and very short update. I'm struggling with a writers block right now and I can't think of anything to write for any of my fanfics. If you would like to share some ideas that's would be great and I would really appreciate that. Thank you very much.
