SAY MY NAME

*

august. 2010

There was an interesting silence in the car as Finn was driving himself, Millie, and Mike to go meet with the leader of a gang that would be able to give Finn and Millie distirbution.

Mike had told the man, a guy named Joe Keery, that they would be coming to talk about a possible deal between them. Fortunately for Finn and Millie, Mike had tons of connections in the world of crime.

Although unfortunately, Mike knew that Joe most likely wasn't going to be interested in working with two teenagers. However as usual, Finn had a plan. There were a million different ways that plan could go wrong but it was still a plan.

After awhile of driving they could see two trucks and a few men in the distance. Finn took a few deep breaths to calm himself as he continued to drive a bit closer to the scene.

He put the vehicle in park and pursed his lips. All three of them unbuckled their seatbelts in unison and then began to exit the vehicle. Millie was probably the most frightened out of all of them. She had a feeling that Finn was simply winging it and had no actual plan or idea.

"Well, well, well, if isn't the three stooges." The leader of the gang, Joe, mocked as he stepped closer to them.

"Mike, where's the recipe?" He added.

The original plan was that Finn would give them the recipe, Joe's gang would do all the work, then Finn and Millie would get a very small portion of all profits. However Finn shot down that idea. He didn't like the idea of his meth recipe in the hands of anyone else except for him and Millie.

"I'm not going to give you the recipe." Finn stated firmly.

The taller man cocked his head and scoffed. "Why is that? And who the hell are you?"

"I'm the man who's keeping the recipe." He retorted.

Finn knew that him and Millie would be able to make more money than anyone else if he kept the recipe. By giving it away, he would no longer have complete control over the cooking process. He assumed that any other cook would take shortcuts and end up ruining all of the product.

"Mike what the hell is this? I thought you told me that I was getting 'the best meth cookin' procedure in the world'?" Joe said, beginning to get angry. Mike simply looked around and avoided the man's gaze.

Finn inhaled deeply. "Mike does not even have the recipe. You're dealing with me now, not Mike."

"Why don't you just cut to whatever it is you want? Or whatever you think is gonna happen. Because we are going to get what we came for." Joe retorted in a threatening manner. Millie looked worringly over at Mike whom didn't look back at her. She was starting to think that they were all going to die.

"The recipe in my hands is worth more than it would be in yours, or anyone else's for that matter. But I need distribution." Finn attempted to reason with him.

Joe chuckled. "Distribution?"

"That's right. So if you agree to give up your cook and sell my product instead, I'll give you 35% of what we earn." He added.
