Davina, Anastasia, and Marcel are waiting in the courtyard for Kol to return. He was currently preparing a body for Rebekah to jump into in case things didn't go as planned. In return, Klaus would give him the Fauline diamond, which seemed to be a fair trade for him.

"Done! As per your request. Miss Angelica Barker. Good cheekbones and a tummy you can bounce a quarter off! She will be Rebekah's new host body instead of Cami," Kol explains as he returns to the compound.

"Who's Angelica Barker?"

"One of my vampire potentials. Had to turn her down. She was too lost," Marcel informs Anastasia.

Camille walks down just then after hearing their conversation. "Does she know what's about to happen to her?"

"It's better when they don't know," Davina sighs.

"Hopefully, we won't have to use her."

"Hopefully. But, then, my mother is a wily and vindictive woman...which is why I've got to ask something else of you."

"You're already getting the diamond," Marcel points out, staring at Kol suspiciously.

"Which I'm thrilled about. But, in order for me to help you, I need access to my mother's hourglass...which is in the Lycée. With my mother."

"And?"

"Well, I haven't been back in a while, and the only way she won't suspect me is if I bring back the thing that I was sent to find."

"Which was...?"

"Oh, no. Don't tell me," Davina groans. "You need the white oak stake."

"What? Are you out of your mind?!"

"Look, it's the only way she's gonna trust me! She doesn't want to kill them, she just wants to make sure that the weapon doesn't fall into the wrong hands," Kol reasons. "I swear, as soon as she's gone, I'll give it right back to Klaus."

"Like hell you will. Deal's off."

Klaus then enters the compound and looks at his brother. "Kol! Whatever grudges you hold against me, we're doing this for the good of our family. Do I have your word that, for once, you will honor that?"

"You have my word, Nik. Swear on the face of us all," he promises.

"Then we have a deal. I'll get the stake."

Davina and Anastasia are spreading salt, sand, and herbs around an hourglass on the table in the courtyard to prepare for their spell. The witches and Marcel explain their plan to Camille as Davina turns the hourglass. "Kol will link this hourglass to Esther's, which means ours will mirror hers."

"When the last sand falls, Esther will try to jump into you," Marcel explains.

"That's when I'll redirect the spell from you to Esther. It's meant to jam the signal just long enough to keep that kind of magic from working against anyone."

"If it works," Camille mumbles anxiously.

"It'll work! When Rebekah attacks, Esther won't be able to jump her into you, or herself anywhere else."

"And we're sure Kol is on board?"

"He is," Davina assures her. "In all the years I've known him, he, like Elijah, doesn't give his word lightly. You can trust him." Moments later, the sand in the hourglass begins to fall, meaning Kol cast the spell on Esther's. They all watch it intently. "It's working."

After a while, the last grain of sand falls, and Marcel yells, "Now!" Anastasia and Davina begin chanting the spell, but Camille soon begins seizing. "Cami?" The hourglass suddenly explodes, causing everyone to have to move out of the way in order not to be penetrated by glass shards. Marcel looks over at the witches with a worried expression. "Did it work?"

"We have no idea," Davina replies.

Camille has been laid in an armchair in the courtyard, where Anastasia is sitting at her side, gently brushing her hair off her face. Klaus returns to the compound a moment later, carrying Rebekah's body, which he lays on the couch. Back in the courtyard, Davina explains to Klaus what has happened in his absence. "Cami's not awake yet, either."

Marcel rushes into the room just then, looking anxious. "When she's up, we've got to get her out of the Quarter. She's not safe here. Someone busted Finn out."

"My mother is using Mikael to do her dirty work," Klaus sighs. Camille suddenly awakens with a gasp and everyone turns towards her. "Camille?"

She gathers her bearings before laughing in relief. "I suddenly love that stupid name!"

Anastasia turns to hug her, while Marcel, Klaus, and Davina shoot her smiles. Marcel goes to caress Rebekah's face, seeing as she's still unconscious.

"I couldn't stop the spell," Klaus mumbles in realization. He's about to speed off when Marcel calls after him.

"Please tell me that your mother's dead!"

"Rebekah and I took extra precautions. Esther is exactly where she needs to be," he responds before leaving.

Davina and Kol are walking through the Quarter, though she notices he has an unusually wide grin plastered on his face.

"Why so cheery looking?"

"Remember how I said Rebekah had done me a solid back in 1914? Swore she hadn't told Klaus that I was taking the diamond? I was actually being a bit facetious. I owed her one for a century. Today, I got to pay back that favor."

"Well, damn. So, what exactly did you do to her, besides serve a side of revenge?"

"I didn't exactly prep Angelica Barker. I prepped someone else," Kol smirks.

"What? Who?"

"Oh, it's a bit of a story. You see, Klaus didn't just punish me for stealing the diamond, he also punished my witch friends—locking them in the Dowager Fauline cottage. Over the decades it's become quite a catch-all for an assortment of odd birds of the witchy variety. I'm sure Rebekah will be very comfortable in a prison created by Klaus."

"Geez, that's pretty diabolical and clever at the same time," Davina groans. "You swear she's safe?"

"Perfectly. Now, seeing as this has been a good day, I think a celebratory kiss is in order." Davina smiles and the two passionately make-out on the sidewalk of the Quarter. Suddenly, Davina breaks away as she was having vivid visions of someone waking up. Not just one person, but two. She lets out a gasp of agony, as the visions were overwhelming her. "Davina?"

"Ohh, my god," she grinds out, sinking to her knees. "No-o. They're awake. Both of them. Ugh!"

Kol helps Davina to her feet and braces her by wrapping an arm around her waist. "And those people would be-"

"Yeah. Freya and Dahlia. I'm so dead."

Kol shuffles back into the compound with Davina in tow. He quickly hands off the white oak stake to Klaus, who looks relieved. "A promise is a promise."

Davina then rushes off to where Freya's coffin was being kept and peers into the room. It was empty, and so was the coffin. "What the hell..."

Kol joins her with a concerned look on his face. "What is it?"

"She's not here. She's not—where did she go?"
