"You what?!" I almost yelled.
"Nothing, you shouldn't have come here anyways." Zach replied.
"No Zach, you said something." I said.
"Fine, I like you." He replied, looking away.
I grabbed his chin lightly with my fingers. I turned his head towards me.
"You went away because of me?" I questioned.
"Yeah, you were a distraction to me and I couldn't stand being near you, knowing that you didn't like me the way I like you." He said, softly.
"Zach, I love you. But we're so much better as friends. I can't take this whole relationship thing either. I would want a relationship to be private. Zach, just know that I love you so much and that we should stay friends." I said.
"I like you a lot, but if that's what you want. If you think that's right for the both of us then you're probably right." He smiled.
"Well then, let's go home." I exclaimed.
"Yeah, let's go." He said, walking beside me.
"One more thing." I said, turning around facing Zach.
"Wha-?" He was cut off.
I pressed my lips against his lightly. He was shocked at first, but he fell into the kiss. He pulled away with a surprised look on his face.
