Money In The Bank - Met Life Stadium, 8:59pm (East Rutherford, NJ)
Randy Orton.
Bray Wyatt.
Antonio Cesaro.
Dean Ambrose.
Damien Sandow.
Sami Zayn.
Those were the six guys that the world watched go at it brutally for nearly an hour. All of the ladder crashes and hardcore bumps for a contract with papers in it. One that damn near guaranteed them to be a champion in the future.
My money in this match was on Orton before it started. However from the moment he walked down the ramp with Sage things took an extreme turn.
Bray Wyatt's eyes got fixated on her and they didn't go away. Even as Randy directed her to go to the opposite side of the ring. The creepy look was just hard to shake.
Now that this had match had been going on for sixty minutes, it was pretty hard to believe that the only seconds he took his eyes off of her was when he got punched. However after a big dive from Sami Zayn that took out five of the other guys - including himself - Bray had a free moment to get out of the ring.
"Come on, Randy!" Sage cheered him on as she peered under the rope, not noticing the big burly guy coming towards her. But once he rounded the pole her head snapped in that direction.
"Such innocence." He smiled with blood lacing through his teeth. "Doe like eyes and child like face."
She started to back up a bit. "You're freaking me out."
"Don't be scared, Abigail."
"Who?"
"Abigail." He reached out to grab her hand and she quickly moved it. "Come on home, darling."
"Stop calling me that."
He tried to reach for her again until suddenly, Bray caught a forearm to the back of the head sending him down. It was Orton who'd come to her rescue.
"Go in the back, I don't want you getting hurt." He told her, pointing towards the ramp. "Wait for me in the locker room."
She quickly nodded and turned around to come back. As he watched her go up and make it to the stage, he was quickly grabbed being bent backwards over Wyatt's knee.
"This one's for you pretty one!" Bray called to her as she looked on in horror. He slowly kissed his forehead before Sister Abigailing him into the turnbuckle pole.
I gasped at the impact along with Ziggler.
Sage ran straight through the curtain after that and not a moment too soon I could hear her sneakers hitting the concrete before she burst into the locker room. Quickly shutting the door behind her and taking in deep breaths.
As we continued watching the match, it became clear that my money should've been on Sami instead. In fact, he was the guy that everyone wanted to see win. After that brutal attack my Punk a few weeks ago, the best revenge would've been for Zayn to win this briefcase and cash it in on him.
He was getting huge pops through the whole thing. Especially at the end, when he had cleared the entire ring with a backwards moonsault from the ladder. In an instant, he got back up and descended the ladder quickly.
But was thwarted when Ambrose made a speedy recovery and got up there as well. They threw punches until Dean managed to land a solid one, sending him off. Thus leaving just him to grab the briefcase,
