Chapter 4: Hit the books

Jack's Pov

So i've lost my family 10 years ago... I live by myself in our mansion with my servants, its pretty lonely but i had to learn to live with it

I prepared myself for the first day of school next week, senior year... the last year of my high school experience, next year i'm going to collage to become a lawyer or judge, i haven't much decided

Sure i have a lot of money that my parents left me, but i want to earn my own money too

"Master Frost?" Maid Cinderella, aka: Cindy, knocked on my door

"Come in" i heard her open the door, i glanced at her

"Your friend Hiccup is here" i stood from my bed and stood straight

"Thank you very much" i walked pass her. yes, i'm still the little proper boy my parents taught me to be, its been a habit

I went down stairs and saw Hiccup playing with my Xbox, i rolled my eyes and pushed him off the couch playfully, he groaned while getting up

"Hey! a simple 'whats up' would've been fine!" He complained, i laughed and sat on the couch while picking up another controller to play the game two-way

"You know i don't do that" i just passed my car pass his on the game, i'm so kicking his ass!

"Hey! you're cheating!" he complained, i passed the finish line first and chuckled

"Oh well" i threw my controller on the couch and laid back relaxing. ever since my family died, i wasn't force to be a good boy, i was basically free now, no more fancy parties, no more high class tea, just cool and laid back Jack

"Hey, wanna hit the mall?" Hiccup suggested

"Nah, i gotta hit the books" i stood up

"You're right, so do I" he sighed and looked around my mansion "cant believe its been 10 years... how you feeling?" i sighed and ran my hand in my white hair

"Better then i use to be" i admit

"I still remember you refuse to leave your room for about 3 years before Eugene and I finally convince you to come out" i frowned and walked to the kitchen, he followed me

"Yeah well, that was along time ago..." Tiana made me a cup of hot cocoa and gave it to me "thank you" i smiled "i don't wanna talk about the past, okay dude? Lets just get ready for school next week"

"Okay man" he gave me a handshake and left my home, i finished my drink and washed it in the sink

"Don't worry sweet heart, i'll do it" Tiana said

"It's fine, its just a cup" i said without looking at her

"Sweet heart, please don't blame yourself for their death, you were just a kid! you didn't know" i dropped the cup accidentally and it shattered

"I cut my finger" i said calmly, looking at her, she rushed and helped fix it "thanks..."

"Don't be so hard on yourself" she frowned, i shook my head and put my hands in my pocket

"It was my fault on their death... if i just been a good little boy, we would've still been in that party and would've avoid the accident" my eyes started to water "its my fault... and i let Emma slip out of my hands while i was so close to bringing her to safety"

"Jack-"

"I'm going to my room" i walked off and locked myself in my room, i looked up and saw my room filled with ice, i groaned and undid the ice, i hate how this happens... if i get emotional, this happens, thats why i have to stay calm, but its hard to do that if people keep talking about my family!

I shrugged it off and laid on my bed... try to get a good night sleep Jack, you have to regain your calmness to be able to control yourself

I played around making snowflakes with my hands until i can finally fell asleep

senior year... you better be good to me... hope something good happens

Nah, Nothing ever happens that school, its pretty boring to me
