It didn't take long tell I swooped up a dress and tried it on. I honestly didn't care what I was wearing, the Luna and Alpha can bite me. Mom went all out though, a long sheer black dress.

I went with a more casual approach on the other hand. A short navy blue dress sat on my olive skin.

I slip on black flats that match my moms before walking out of the store. We climbed in the back seat and waited for Zane to begin driving.

"Here." I look up from my lap to see Zane with two dog collars in his hand. Like, literally, dog collars. Black with silver spikes.

"Alpha has instructed me to make you wear these, they have a line of silver on the inside to ensure you don't shift." His eyes held sorrow as he waited for us to take them.

"I'm so sorry," I growl but pick up mine, stinging my hand in the process

"I'm so sorry," I growl but pick up mine, stinging my hand in the process. Mom followed my actions, hesitation clear on her face. I unclipped it and went to put it around my neck, but a hand stopped me.

"Are you sure?" Her eyes started to swell with tears, staring at the silver about to touch my skin.

"We don't have a choice," I whispered, anger clear through it. I bring it to my neck, wincing as I listen to it sizzling my skin. I lock it shut, letting my hands fall, feeling Victoria fade. Mom did the same, letting out a yelp before tears feel.

"I can still smell your wolves. They're still there. Just not able to shift or talk." I nod and look out the tinted window.

Zane's eyes kept looking in the rearview mirror, his eyes ensuring our safety. I had quickly done my moms hair, braiding the long locks together into one long one. She did the same for me, letting it fall down my shoulder. I grabbed the portable makeup kit and threw on a tad, doing the same for mom.
