As soon as you and Harry were off the plane, a car was waiting to pick the two of you. Harry carried your bags to the car and put them inside while you got into the car. Since it was later, you and Harry decided on grabbing some dinner before heading to his... both of your's house to get some rest and then drive up to his mother's house in the morning.
Plus, it would give both of you some time alone before the shit hit the fan. Once you two got into the car, Harry called in a takeaway order from his favorite restaurant. The driver stopped there on the way to the house and Harry went inside to pick it up. While he waited for the food, he looked at his phone, checking up on some emails and messages he had received during the long flight.
"Excuse me," a voice nervously said from behind him.
Harry looked up, seeing a few girls standing there. "Hello," he smiled.
"Hi, we uh, we hate to bother you, but we just wanted to say hello to you and uh, congratulations on getting married," one of them smiled.
Harry's smile grew wider, "Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me."
"You and Y/N are really cute together and we're so happy for you," another added.
"Really thank you," he smiled. "Would you all like to take a picture? I don't mind."
"Would you? We'd love too," they smiled.
"Yeah, come here," he smiled opening his arms.
They smiled and all came around and took a few group photos with Harry.
"If you post that, could you maybe wait until after I leave?" He asked.
"Of course," they nodded.
"Thank you," he smiled.
Soon his food was ready and they brought it out to him. He pays and tips the worker before also paying for the fans' meals. He waves bye to them and heads back out to the car.
"Sorry if I took longer," he said. "I ran into some fans and we started chatting for a bit."
"Oh, that's fun," you smiled. "What did you talk about?"
"They congratulated us on getting married," he smiled. "And they're really happy for us. So, we took some pictures and I paid for the meals."
"Aww, my husband is so sweet," you smiled kissing his cheek. "How did I get so lucky?"
"Good question," he joked.
You rolled your eyes, "But it is nice to know that fan are being nice about us being married. I know we were sort of iffy on their reactions."
"Yeah, there are some that are having their dramatic reactions, but I don't really give them much thought," he said.

When the driver pulled into the driveway, you took the food inside while Harry got the bags and followed behind you. You put the food on the counter and turned on the lights in the house.
"Does it ever feel strange coming back here after being gone for so long?" You asked. "Like does it ever feel like it's not your house?"
"Sometimes," he nodded. "Especially when I've been gone on tour for ages and then I go to some other places before coming back here."
"You know if your mother wasn't already pissed off at us, I'd say we should just stay here and have her travel down," you sighed.
"Yeah, I thought about it, but normally if I have time, I go back home for at least a week or two before getting back into the hustle and bustle of London," he said.
You nodded as you got out the food containers and you both went over the table to sit down. Harry poured you some wine he had ordered from the restaurant.
"I'm so glad we decided to stay here tonight," you said. "I don't know if I could make it in a car while we drove there."
"I know what you mean," he laughed. "I feel exhausted even though we slept a bit on the plane."
"I just need to stretch out on an actual bed and get a shower," you laughed.
"Hm, may I join you in the said shower?" He asked.
"Well, you are my husband, so I don't see why not," you smirked.
He leaned across the table and pressed his lips against yours.

The next morning you both were up bright and early. You pretty just through your bags from last night into Harry's Range Rover and got inside on the passenger's side. Once he was ready to go, he drove to Starbucks and got some coffee and pastries for breakfast.
"So, are prepared for how upset your mom's going to be?" You asked.
"I don't think one can ever prepare for something like that," he said.
"Which set of parent's do you think are more upset? Your's or Mine?" You asked.
"Well, probably your's because they hadn't even met me yet," he said. "Plus, I think your dad might try and kill me when we do go see them."
"I hope not," you laughed taking a bite of your breakfast.
"You know, I understand why our parents are upset," he said. "But I feel like they're really making it about them. They keep talking about their feels and how upset and hurt they are, but none one is taking in the consideration of our feelings. We're the ones that got married. We're the ones in love. Shouldn't it ultimately be about what we want?"
"One would think," you sighed. "Maybe we should tell them that. If they end up getting too upset when we're talking to them we just need to remind them about why we got married and who this marriage is about."
"That might be easier said than done," he said.
"True," you nodded.
"You'd never regret it, right?" you asked. "I mean I know we've talked about this before, but I just we never know what your Mom or my parents might say and one of us might be like oh, wow I wish we never did this."
"No, I'd- I'd never see myself ever regretting marrying you or how we did it," he said. "Do you?"
"No, of course not," you said taking his hand. "I loved our wedding and loved that it was private. Do I wish our families were there... a little, but it was nice just being able to cherish that moment with ourselves."
"Me too," he smiled kissing your hand. "I love you."
"I love you, too," you smiled. "And I can't wait until we've talked to both of our families and then we can go on our honeymoon."
He smirked, "I'm still narrowing it down to a few places, but I can't wait either."
"You just can't wait for being able to have sex almost all day every day," you joked.
"You know me so well," he joked.
You giggled, "Anyway, any hints on where we may be going?"
"Nope, it's a surprise," he said.
"Seriously?" You groaned. "Aren't we supposed to tell each other everything?"
"Oh, don't pull that card on me," he laughed. "That doesn't include surprises."
"You're so fucking mean," you groaned.
"But you love me," he smiled.
"Yeah, I do, and that's why I married you," you smiled.
Soon Harry pulled up to his mother's house. As soon as you got out of the car, you saw her and Gemma standing there right outside of the front door. You and Harry waved before going to get your bags. You both walked hand in hand towards the house. The closer you got to the front door, the closer you could see the very unhappy look on both Anne and Gemma's faces.
Yeah, this trip was not going to go well at all.
