"Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seat belts. We will be landing soon," I heard a voice say over the intercom speaker. I tightened my seat belt and put my earbuds and iPod in my purse. I already couldn't wait until I was there, in sunny California.

Well I know what you're wondering. Why am I going to California? Three words. 'We are moving.' My Mother, younger brother Damian, and I. My parents are getting divorced. Mom said she never wants to see Dad again, so she snatched Damian and I packing our bags and heading right out the door.

You see, I'm no ordinary girl. Not the one that would mourn over the break up of their parents marriage, and miss their friends just because she's moving far away from them. In that case, I'm pretty happy. My entire life I dreamt of living in the 'Sunshine State,' so I can make it big in life. Besides, I don't have much friends here in Georgia, anyway. I'm going to come back and visit Dad next summer anyway.
