Chapter 22

"I'm going to run around the canteen naked now!"

"WHAT?"

"I thought that would get your attention!" Tyler smirked

"Huh?"

Sighing Tyler said, "I have been talking to you for the past 5 minutes and you have been completely ignoring me!"

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to its just that I got a lot on my mind"

"Anything I can help with?"

"Not really"

"Grace I'm not stupid"

"huh?"

"Well there's a table over there full of jocks and really pretty girls who are ALL staring at me like I just kicked a puppy!"

"No. They're not!"

"Yes. They are and one particular just stormed out of the canteen looking like he wanted to rip me to pieces! So I'm guessing that they're the ones you're stressing

about!"

Sighing, I finally admitted, "Yeah I guess I am stressing. You see there all my best friends there like my family we that close but lately we have all been just arguing and it sucks and I just want everything to go back to the way things were before!"

"Well fix it then!"

"How?"

"Well when you normally fight with them what do you do? I bet it's not sit on some table with a new boy!"

"Well actually we have NEVER fought like this before"

"OK. That's not the answer I was looking for! I was hoping that you would say that you talk to them!"

"Well I guess that might work!"

"You guess? Do you doubt my amazing plan?" He said smiling

"Well you are new so you don't know how things work around here!" I said giggling

"Well actually I think friends work the same way here in boring old Connecticut as they do in New York!"

"You might be right there new boy...but not about Connecticut being boring!!" I said

"So are you going to go talk to them?"

"Yeah.... Only if you come with me!"

"Sure" He said putting his arm around my shoulder reassuringly. I guess it was obvious that I was scared and nervous and worried all rolled into one.

I have never fallen out with the guys like this before. It's scary and sad and to be honest quite lonely. Getting up and walking over to them with Tyler in tow, I could feel

how much I had missed being with them. Properly. Not me being distracted by Sam or HER. It has never been like this with us. We all normally get along and have

fun and are they for each other. But now things are now so different and as much as I didn't want to admit it, it was because of me. Well me and Sam. We had caused this. They were all fighting because of us and as much as they pretend they haven't they really have taken sides. I mean anyone could see that from the way they were sitting! Ebony, Blake, Lo and Nate were on one side of the table and Serena, Andy, Blair and Josh were on the other. They all looked angry and sad at the same time. They were fighting a fight that didn't concern them and I wasn't about to let them all fall out because of me and Sam!
