Katherine POV

"I think it's time we have a real conversation don't you think?" He said, looking down at me with his demon eyes.

I hate you. I hate you. Go die.

"No. I don't want to talk to you." I said.

"But you need to."

"No I don't." I said.

"Wouldn't you like to know why those men were after you?" He asked, he walked to a corner of the room and opened a cabinet, which turned out to be a mini fridge. He pulled out a bottle of scotch and opened another cabinet and grabbed a glass.

"W-What?"

"The men that went after you that night, were paid." He said, he poured himself a small amount in the glass before returning the bottle to its place.

I couldn't help but allow tears spring into my eyes.

Someone wants me dead.

"Who?" I asked, though it came out as a whisper, but the room was so quiet, he still heard me.

"Come here." He said. He was sitting in a chair that was apart of the sitting area, which surrounded a TV and fireplace.

I hesitantly stood up and walked towards him.

Then I took a seat on the couch next to him.

"Tell me about your family." He said changing the topic as he took a sip of his beverage.

"No. Tell me who was after me!" I exclaimed.

"Tell me. About your family." He repeated slowly.

I sighed a glared at him. Which he returned with a smug smirk.

"What do you want to know?" I asked quietly.

"I want to know, about your parents, your siblings, and how they treated you." He said taking another sip.

How'd he know I have siblings?

"My mom and dad dated for a short time, I was an accident, and when I was born, my mom left me with my dad. It was just the two of us for a year or two, then he met his current wife. They got married of course, had three kids, and that's it." I said.

"How do they treat you?"

"I don't want to-ok." I said giving up. He'd find out eventually anyway right?
