Katherine POV

I plopped down on to the bed, sitting up straight as I listened to Marino and Savannah yell at each other in Italian.

After a few minutes Savannah gave up and looked at me apologetically, before leaving.

Yep, I'm staying in his room.

Marino looked at me then turned and walked into his closet. He came out a couple minutes later wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants.

"Are you going to let me leave?" I asked, sitting back on the bed.

"No." He answered with a glare.

"Why? You know this is technically kidnap? You could go to jail." I said and you know what he did?

He laughed.

He let out a loud laugh.

And I'm not going to lie, it was sexy. But I'm not letting him know that.

And he had a smile on his face, except it wasn't a genuine smile, it was an evil smile.

"Sweetheart, I basically own the government. They wouldn't even dream of putting me behind bars, so get that though your head now." He said darkly.

0-100 I'm telling you.

"You can't do this!" I said standing and throwing my hands in the air.

"Oh but I can. And I will." He said walking up towards me.

He was tall, like 6'6, meanwhile I'm over here trying to be tall at 5'5. Trying.

"My family is having lunch in half an hour ok? I'm going to get you some clothes, there should be soap and towels in the bathroom so you can clean up. There's plastic bags in there also so your casts won't get wet, alright?" He said softly hand one of his giant hands held my face.

I was making the mistake of looking into his eyes, the very ones that were pitch black 6.2 seconds ago.

I nodded weakly.

A smirk was on his face as he turned to walk out the room, locking the door from the outside behind him.

I hate him.

I walked to the door and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.

I took a deep breath. Maybe I can find another way to leave, another time.
