Trapped on this earth
Surrounded by false beauty
False Happiness
Never able to spread my wings
And fly away
To a whole new world
Where each and every life has value
And no one is not a mystery
Where everything is simple
And no one is better then Anyone else
So I stare at the sky
Yearning to be able to escape
To fly away into the vast plain
To have freedom
To escape this prison that entraps me
Known as life
Known as punishment
For the secrets told
The cheeks stained red from the tears
That were shed
Trapped in these chains
Pulling me to the ground
And sometimes I fear it will swallow
Me whole but, they don't
They just let the chains pull
Pulling for eternity as I continue
My daily routine
Daydreaming about the day
I will be free
For I will escape this prison
I will be free of these chains that entrap me
I will make these walls that surround tumble to the ground
And I will spread my wings and fly away
Fly away from this false beauty
Fly away from this false happiness
Fly away from it all and fly into freedom
