Chapter 2

TaeTae sat on a tree branch, crying softly. "I hate them... I hate them...", he murmured. He just wanted to make a friend, but his father doesn't let him. Though he still gets to go. TaeTae doesn't understand why his parents didn't let him make a friend. Is it because he's a prince? Or is it that TaeTae is going to take the duty of the kingdom with his father? He just can't understand them. TaeTae sat there with rage inside, but that rage doesn't last long at all. He is too kind-hearted. He can't be mad at someone for that long, unless he or she did something that is very terrible.

The next day, Jin took TaeTae to measure for his outfit for the ball. The outfit was already made perfectly, but they need to check his size just in case if it doesn't fit. The outfit is smooth, white button-up shirt with a silky, black jacket on top. The pants are long with dark-gray stripes. Not to mention, there is also a bright, red bow on his neck. Jin smiled at TaeTae and that made TaeTae smile too.

"Emmoa, why do I have to wear this ring?", TaeTae asked him. There was a sliver ring on his index finger. He never knew why he needs to wear this to special occasions, like the ball.

Jin laughs and say,"TaeTae, that is the Fated Ring! You have to wear it, so you can find your fated love partner! Just like I did with your father! You are supposed to wear it after 22 because that's when you get to find your love. But, for some reasons, you haven't yet. But don't worry. You have until 30 years old before you are going to be forced to be married with someone you don't love. That's one of the laws in this kingdom. It have been past down to many generations."

TaeTae looked at his ring. "I don't think I'm able to find my partner yet. "

"Why would you think that, son?"

"Well, I don't know. I just do.", TaeTae shrugged.

Jin chuckles. "Let's see about that!" After that, the two royals went back to the castles with the finished outfit for TaeTae.

One the day of the ball, TaeTae was getting ready for the ball. He puts on the outfit and shoes. Now he looks completely like a prince and a gentleman. He quickly fixed his hair and rushed out the door.

Jin and Namjoon were getting ready as well. Jin wore a red suit with a pink flower choker on his neck. His brown hair is combed neatly. Namjoon wore a dark blue jacket over a normal white shirt. He has a black choker around his neck. His pinkish hair is parted perfectly to his left. They are ready to go.

"Joonie, where is the bracelet that will barricade him from the Alphas?", Jin asked Namjoon quickly before they were about to leave the room.

Namjoon puts a finger on Jin's lips and hush him. "I have it in my pocket. Now let's find TaeTae before we're too late." Jin nodded and they both left the room as quickly as they can.

TaeTae was about to go in the ball went someone called his name. He saw that it was Namjoon. "Father, what may I help you with? I mean, you were calling my name so many time..."

"Well, I need you to wear this bracelet", Namjoon gave the bracelet to TaeTae.

"Why?" TaeTae asked as he puts on the bracelet.

"It will make you look like a prince more. And I wore it before. It gives a lot a luck", Namjoon smiled,"You can find your partner."

TaeTae sighed,"Father, what if that person, who is my fated lover, doesn't love me? Or what if I don't feel anything for that person?"

Jin catches up with them,"What? That's impossible! You will fall in love with the person." He stopped and took a deep breath.

TaeTae patted his emmoa's head. "Okay, okay. Now, calm down and rest. You can't go to the ball like this!" He smiled.

Jin smiled back. Namjoon sighed at the two. They always have second thoughts. But, no matter what he loved them with all his heart.
