6-Angel

I’m walking to English with Paige, excited to see Logan. English has become my favorite subject.

So we walk through the door to find Logan kissing a girl. She was fairly tall and had wavy blonde hair that was properly long.

When he notices that students are starting to walk in, he pushes her away and begins to explain to the class, “I’m sorry class; I thought I had more time than this. I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Angel.”

He smiles, kisses her on the nose and waves her goodbye.

How could he do this? He was with me? Why is he back together with the girl that cheated on him? I thought he loved me. Now he is here kissing her like nothing is wrong.

Tears fall down my cheeks as I stare at Logan giving him the “How could you?” look.

As he starts teaching the lesson, a doorbell goes off. I had never heard a doorbell go off in the classroom. No one seems to notice. I hear it again and am dying to know what it is!

“Chloe, do you have any questions?” Logan asks me.

Obviously he was asking if I had questions about the lesson but I chose to go a different route.

“Yes Mr. Cross. I do have questions. What happened to us? Why did you go crawling back to her? Was I not good enough? How could you? How could you?”

I jolt awake and see Logan’s face rite in front of me.

“Chloe, are you ok? I woke up because I heard someone ring the doorbell. As I was getting dressed, I heard you murmuring, “How could you?”

“Um, yeah. I’m fine. Go answer the door.” I say, starting to sweat.

“Ok babe. Be right back.” He says, kissing me on the forehead.

I start to sweat more and it’s probably because it is almost 100 degrees outside and I am wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants.

I decide to take my clothes off and grab one of Logan’s T-shirts.

I leave his room to see who is at the door.

Standing in the doorway is the girl from my dream! She is holding a box and talking to Logan. Why is she here? I am in the other room so they can’t see my but I can see them. It’s sort of hard to make out what they are saying.

I turn to look at the clock to see what time it is. 11:30. It felt good to sleep in.

I turn back to Angel and Logan and see them kissing. Immediately I run back to Logan’s room devastated.

It is just like the dream. He isn’t over her. I should have known.

I grab my sweatshirt and sweatpants and attempt to open the window. I hear footsteps and know I have to think fast, but it’s not fast enough.
