HER
When I got inside Shelia gave me this 'I will be expecting all the deets' look which I rolled my eyes at. I went to tuck Ava into bed as she told me all about her day. Paxton knocked on the door and came in. "Hey Munchkin, how was your day with aunt Shelia" he asked ruffling her hair making her giggle. He proceeded to pick a book out of her shelf and read her a bedtime story adding weird voices.
I left to shower in my room but when I got there the room was locked. "Paxton, why is my room locked" I asked as he came out of her room shutting the door behind him.
"There was a termite infestation it was contained before it spread to other parts of the house. I already ordered a new bed for you but for the meantime....... you can stay in my room" he replied getting shy when he said the last part
"Or....... I could stay in one of the guest rooms" I retorted with an eye roll
He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck "oh yh, you could do that too"
HER
This is quite embarrassing, I thought as I Looked down. I can't believe I forgot to get a new pack, of all things to forget. I was still staying in a guest room. I contemplated calling Shelia to help me get a new pack but she had work stuff . Just then I heard the door open and "Hey Alex, got a minute?" Paxton said as he enters the room
"I'm kinda occupied at the moment" I said clutching my stomach as I felt the cramps coming unable to stop the groan coming out of my mouth
"Are you alright in there?" he asked knocking on the door
"GO AWAY !!!!!!! Im fine" I said totally sounding unconvincing
"Oh is it that time of the month?"
"HOW THE HECK DID YOU GUESS SO CORRECTLY"
"The author didn't know how else to reveal it "
"What was that?" I asked not hearing him well
"Oh, it just seemed likely"
"Fine, can you pass me my phone?"I asked seeing no other way to get around this, my flow is always super heavy on the first few days so walking from the bathroom to my room to get the phone will be bloody and to be honest that would be disgusting even for me "Close your eyes" I shouted as i saw the door open slightly. He handed me the phone with one hand while the other covered his eyes
"Thank you" I said as he closed the door already dialing Tristan's number
"Hey Tris, I need your help with something"
"Can it wait?" he said hurriedly "I'm kinda in the middle of something"
"No problem TTYL love" I said ending the call with a groan
"Is it something I can help you with?" Paxton said startling me because I thought he had left
I groaned realizing I didn't have any other choice "Could you help me go to the store and get sanitary pads?"
"Sure, give me 20 minutes, do have a specific brand"
Yup, this is never gonna happen again, I though to myself feeling so weirded out by this conversation.
"Anyone is fine" I said wanting this conversation to end and was in luck when I heard the door open and close
*17 minutes later*
The door opens again, then the bathroom door opens and he hands me a random pack of pads. I heard the door close and went out of the room with the intent of crashing in my bed but when I opened the bathroom door and saw Pax sitting on the bed the plan extinguished.
"What are you still doing here?" I asked "What if I came out naked" I continued not letting him reply
"I wouldn't mind" he replies with a smirk
"I am this close to throwing a shoe at you" I said holding my thumb and pointer finger an inch apart
"Fine, fine. I bought some chocolate and green tea too. And I rented home alone online. I figured you'd get cramps and chocolates with hot tea is the perfect cure for cramps" he said placing the chocolate and mug of tea on the table and then pressed play on my bedside remote and started the movie. So are you gonna come and sit or you're gonna stand there looking like a grumpy pants
*2 hours later*
"Thank you for the chocolate and tea" I said once the movie finished placing a peck on his cheek
*a week later*

So, I took Alexandria and Ava to lunch around the corner and I have to admit, it was fun. Ava kept trying to explain the Joe Pritchett and Lily Tucker- Pritchett family connection but I kept getting lost along the way.
When we finished lunch we strolled down back to Alexandria's Company in a comfortable silence (apart from Ava's chattering).
When we got to the front of the building I bent down to Ava's leveland asked "Do you wanna stay with Alexandria or go with me?" putting a thumbs down after Alexandria's name and a thumbs up after mine.
The kid was surprisingly fun to hang with.I never really had anything against children but if I did, this one would change my mind. She tapped her chin in thought, putting on an overly serious face but before she could say anything, Alexandria said "I have a ton of work to do so it'll be better if you go with Paxton 'cause I'll be no fun to stay with".
Ava hugged her legs before running inside to get her bag. "Thanks for taking us to lunch, you didn't have to" she said suddenly finding her shoes extremely interesting. I never really saw how beautiful she actually was until I stopped looking at her with the hatred I still had over Kimberly.
"I did it because I wanted to" I replied. She looked like she was about to say something but then Ava came out with her bag trailing behind her. "Paxton is gonna take you to Uncle Tristan's Ice cream palour later in the afternoon and you have to finish your homework before you watch Tv, okay? " she said to Ava and she nodded in reply.
They hugged and then she looked at me. I gave her a quick peck on the lips then took Ava's hand and headed to my car before she could react. When we got to the car and I strapped her in I turned around catching Alexandria entering the building. We went straight to the ice-cream palour, the place looked more elite than some of the restaurants I've been to. "Reservation for 2 under Donovan" I told the woman at the door, but Ava had other ideas.
She hugged the lady and said "Hi Ashley, Alexandria wont be able to make it today so its me and Paxton". She sounded so mature, if my eyes were closed I would have sworn I was listening to a grown up. She took my hand and led me to our table (Ava, not Ashley). There were 2 menu's on the table - A kiddie one and a grown-up ones that contained ..... giggle juice. "Any recommendations?, what does Alexandria usually take"
"Uncle Tristan always chooses for us, he never disappoints" she said looking around, probably looking for he - who -must - not - be - named. Yup, I've lost it. She spots him and waves frantically signalling where we are and he does the same, looking like a child. He makes it over to us ignoring my presence, hugging Ava and placing a kiss on her head
"Hows my favorite munchkin" he says still not looking at me. What am I. invisible?
"I though I was your only munchkin" she replies giggling
"Well... you're the only one that I give free Ice-cream"
"So I'm special?"
"Of course you are, now, you are gonna have today's special. I picked it with you in mind."
A woman came by carrying a tray with diabetes in a bowl
"I call it the Ava supreme"
"YOU NAMED IT AFTER ME?!???!??!?!" she shouted jumping out of her seat to tackle him in a hug.
"Taste it" he said putting her back in her own seat.
"Ohmyicecream. I am never eating any other flavor again. "
Just then anther waitress came and dropped a bowl of ice-cream in front of me.
