"Wow gray, you clean up nicely" Maia says as she walks into the grooms men's room

I chuckle and continue to fix my black tie, looking into the long body mirror

"How's syd?" I ask glacning across the room at the guys as they talk and sip on rum

"Nervous, but damn does she look happy, and beautiful" Maia smiles "I came in here to talk to you" she adds walking over to me

"What about?" I say tuning around to face her

"Sydney" she says and sits down on the couch

"Everything okay?" I ask sitting next to her

"Look" She sighs "Sydney doesn't have a father here to tell you this, but Sydney is my best friend, she's very special to us all. so don't you dare break her fragile heart, she's deserves better" Maia prods at my chest as a single tear falls down her cheek "she's gone though too much" Maia wipes her tears before Ethan can see it and run over

"I could never, I love her too much" I smile and hand Maia my handkerchief out of my back pocket

"Oh god, the wedding hasn't even started and I'm sobbing" she laughs and wipes her eyes

"Everyone cries at weddings" I laugh and give her a friendly hug, she sends me a sweet smile before handing me my handkerchief and getting off the couch

"Thanks Gray" she says before walking out of the room

*Sydney's p.o.v*

"Syd calm down" mic says as I pace the room in my robe, my breathing is heavy and fast

"What-what if I'm making a mistake?" I say as my hands start to shake

"Your not, you love Grayson" Mic says trying to reasure me

"I know I love him, but what if I don't in 10 years or even 1!" I exclaim

"Whats going on?" Maia asks walking into the room, her eyes are slightly red,was she crying?

"Syds having a panic attack" mic says as I continue to fan myself

"Am I making a mistake?" I ask Maia

"calm down syd" Maia says, I sit down on the couch "you and Grayson, are the most perfect people for each other, don't let some stupid jitters ruin the best day of your life" she smiles

"Now go get your wedding dress on" Maia laughs pulling me into a hug

i nod and walk over to the door that had my mothers wedding dress hanging on it, I decided to wear my mothers dress, she wasn't here on my wedding day, but she could be here in spirit

I've been dreaming of this day since I was 10, I never expected it to happen, I always thought I wouldn't ever find anyone that loved me.

I slip into the pearly white dress and walk over to the mirror

My blonde hair had grown out longer and was pinned back in a curly low bun, my makeup was light and natural, but nothing felt real

I walk out of the changing room and over to the girls, mic, Maia and aunt Rene were all sipping on mimosas and talking

I cleared my throat and they all turned around

"Oh my god!" Maia shouted almost dropping her drink

"You look beautiful!" Mic yelled running over to me and hugging me along with Maia

"Thank you" I laugh hugging them, when they pulled away I saw Rene crying with her arms extended, I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug

"You look so so beautiful" she said letting out small cries escape from her mouth

"Thank you" I said becoming watery eyed

"your mother would be so happy if she saw you" rene says as she pulls away

"thank you" i smile

"We have a small surprise" Maia said

"What-?" I said before turning around and seeing her

She had left for school and I haven't seen her since, but now she was standing here, her hair is short and darker her eyes are still bright and blue, she's so much older looking

"Sigrid" I say quietly as shock rushes over my body

"Hey syd" she laughed through tears and hugged me

"Your so much older" I cry holding her small frame

"I'm 17 now" she laugh and pulls away

"What!" I exclaim holding her shoulders

"Yeah"

"No way" I say wiping my eyes

"It's been three years" she says smiling

"Wait! Is that why there's and extra bridesmaids dress?" I ask turning to Maia and Mic

"Yep" they both say

"I missed you munchkin" I laugh and hug her once more

*graysons p.o.v*

"To Grayson and his last day of being a bachelor" Ethan says as he raises his third glass of rum

"You can still escape" Eddie adds, slurring his words

"I'm good" I laugh; completely sober

"Atta boy" Matthew says lifting his water glass, I chuckle in return

I felt like every nerve was rushing through my body, my hands were clammy, my head was slightly dizzy, and my moth was dry

God I still can't believe it, I'm about to marry sydney, the girl I've wanted to be with since I saw her

"Excited" Ethan say placing his hand on my shoulder and squeezing it while he sipped his small glass of rum, Ethan has definitely not been passing up the opportunity to drink now that hes 23, but he was fun drunk

"Nervous" I say fixing my white button ups cuff, I decided not to put on my black blazer just yet

"Good, that's normal" he smiles

"Can I ask you something?" I ask turning to face him

"Sure" he shrugs

"Do you think I'm making the right decision?" I hesitantly ask

"Let me ask you this" Ethan starts "Do you love sydney?"

"More then anything"

"Simple as that" Ethan smirks "you love her and god knows she loves you" he says handing me my coke

"Thanks e" I grab my coke and give him and hug

"Now get your blazer were about to start" he says downing the last bit of his drink

*sydneys p.o.v*

I was looking over myself in the mirror, everything seemed perfect, the dress, the hair, the makeup, the people here, except my mom, if she was here it would be more then perfect

"Wow" I hear a male voice from behind me, I tune around to see Matthew standing tall in his blue blazer and hair combed to the side "you look great" he smiles walking over to me and hugging me

"Thanks" I say as he hugs me tightly

"Your ready to walk down the isle to your future?" Matthew asks

"No pressure or anything" I say sarcastically

"Come on dork" he laugh and extends his arm for me to take, Matthew was going to walk me down the isle, I didn't want my father walking me down and Grayson's father wasn't here, I wasn't upset to have Matthew here, just disappointed my dad wasn't a good enough man

This is it, I guess
