Percy held Annabeth's hand as they entered his apartment. Annabeth closed her eyes and hugged him after he closed the door. Percy sighed, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I love you, baby." He whispered to her softly.
"I love you, too." Annabeth sighed, pulling away from him. He kissed her forehead and took her hand. "Can we just sleep tonight? I'm too stressed out to do much else."
"I was actually gonna ask you the same thing, Wise Girl." He smiled, before carefully picking her up bridal style. Annabeth leaned her head on his shoulder as he carried her to his room, laying her on the bed. He pulled away from her and went to the closet, taking off the button up shirt Annabeth had made him wear. Annabeth watched tiredly as he changed out of the dress clothes he put on, into sweatpants. He turned to face her and smiled softly. He knelt down in front of her and took her hands in his. "It'll be okay, Annabeth. I promise you." He kissed her knuckles. "We'll figure it out. We always do."
Annabeth sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck, putting her head on his. He moved closer to her, putting his arms around her waist, head on her stomach, kneeling down in between her legs. She closed her eyes, holding onto him tightly.
"I love you, Percy."
"I love you too, Wise Girl." He looked up at her. She leaned down and kissed his forehead, eyes closed. She felt tears in her eyes. Annabeth was scared. She didn't want to risk loosing Percy... She regretted the idea of having dinner with her dad. It was a stupid idea, and now she was at risk of loosing the person she loved... She felt Percy's arms move away from her, and she pulled away, whimpering. "I have something to show you."
She watched him as he reached under the pillow on the bed, pulling out the same box she'd found a few days before. "I already saw the box, Seaweed Brain." He laughed softly.
"I'm not surprised. There's a reason I call you Wise Girl, plus I haven't exactly been good at hiding it, but that's not what I want to show you." He opened the box, showing her a beautiful ring. It was a silver band, decorated with dark blue stones, a sole diamond in the center of the other stones. She felt tears prick at her eyes. "You like it?"
"It's beautiful, Seaweed Brain."
He smiled softly and kissed her. "It's not an engagement ring, I still have to buy that. It's the ring my dad gave my mom on their wedding day. When they got divorced, my mom put it on a necklace, intending to let me use it." Annabeth smiled and ran a hand through his spiked up hair. He nuzzled her stomach, making her giggle. She leaned back slightly, and he pressed his head against her abdomen. "We should make sure the ring fits." Annabeth laughed.
He pulled away from her and pulled the ring out of the box. "You look nervous?"
"It feels like we've already jumped to our wedding day when I put the ring on for good." She smiled at him before he kissed her lovingly. When he broke away again, he slid the ring onto her ring finger. "Gods you're beautiful." He kissed her knuckles, where the ring rested perfectly on her finger.
He pulled it off again and put it in the box, putting the box on the night stand. "You should change."
She nodded and he pulled away, carefully pulling her to her feet. He helped her slide off her dress, kissing her neck gently. She smiled, trying to ignore the fact that she was almost completely naked again, and he was admiring her body with his hands in front of his full body mirror. Her skin blushed red as his hand stopped over the hem of her panties. She saw him close his eyes, before he kissed the underside of her jaw again, breaking away from her body. "You're so sexy." He mumbled in her ear as he pulled his hands away. It made her want to do more than sleep.
She turned to get clothes, just to have Percy hand her one of his sweatshirts. He smirked at her, moving in to kiss her neck. Annabeth moaned, unable to help herself. She put an arm around his neck, her other hand on his bare chest. He pulled her close by her hips, holding onto her body with a tight grip. Annabeth closed her eyes, moaning as he touched her body. "Percy, we aren't doing anything, remember..."
"I know." He whispered against her skin, before breaking away from her and helping her pull his sweatshirt on. She closed her eyes with a smile, relieved when he let her be. His sweatshirt was really big on her, despite them not being that different in height. He put his arm around her waist, pulling her body close to his again, kissing her firmly.
Annabeth closed her eyes happily and let him pick her up again. He carried her to the bed and laid her down, pulling the blanket up over her. He laid down behind her and she rolled over, putting her head on his chest. "I wish we could do this every night..." Annabeth yawned.
"Me too... Someday we can. Someday soon." He promised, kissing her forehead.
"I hope so."
"I know so." He rubbed her back until Annabeth fell asleep.
