I then decided to go on instagram. I scrolled on my feed and saw Colby posted a picture of us. It was me on his back stealing his hat laughing. He captioned it:

A bunch of comments began rolling in asking if we're dating. Sadly no i wish. I decided to just ignore them instead.

I commented back and smiled. I decided to check snapchat stories. I clicked on Colby's it was a selfie of him and Sam. Then one of all three of us. I smiled at it for a while. Then i tapped and it was a picture of me and the food. Then a video of the abondoned warehouse, followed by a selfie he took before scaring me half to death. I clicked for the last time and saw a mirror selfie he took a couple of minutes ago he must of just got home not to long ago. I turned my phone off and went to sleep.

The next morning...
I woke up to my alarm going off. Ugh. School. It's not that i hate school i just hate waking up before 10 am. I got up and grabbed some leggings and a t-shirt since it still a bit cold. I also threw my hair into a high ponytail. Putting on light makeup. Then heading down stairs. "Hey guys" i said to my siblings grabbing a water bottle out the fridge. "Hey" they all said in unison. I'll admit i was closer to Sam then anyone else in the family. "Gotta go bye" Ben and Allison said leaving to the bus. "Colby's gonna be here soon" Sam said putting something in his backpack "Mkay" i said and walked into the living room. 5 minutes later... "JORDAN COLBY'S HERE!" Sam yelled. "OKAY" i yelled and ran to the door slipping on my vans. I ran outside and jumped into Colby's car. "Hey" he greeted me "Heyyyy" i said.
Time skip to friday
I walked out of class heading to the lunchroom. Madison walked up to me. "Oh my godddd Jordannnn guess what?" She asked walking next to me Caspien was now on the other side of me "What?" I asked "There is a hugeeeeee party tonight you HAVE to come" she said dramatically "Yeah EVERYONE is talking about it" Caspien said Caspien was on the basketball team. He was pretty popular but he always decided to hang out with us instead. Maddie was the crazy one she loved partying and doing crazy things. Dating different guys, clubbing all that. I was more layed back i enjoy exploring cool places, watching netflix\ youtube or hanging out with friends don't get me wrong i liked going out sometimes just not always. Since Caspien was popular he usually with team or at practice he went to parties often aswell. I looked at my two best friends and sighed "do i have to?" I asked whinning a bit. "Yes" Caspien replied "Come on it'll be funnnn" maddie said bumping me. "Prettyyyyy pleaseeeeee" they both pleaded "i'll think about it" i said rolling my eyes "yes!" They both said We arrived at the lunch table and sat down at our spot. Sam and Colby walked over "Hey guys" i said jabbing my food with a fork visciously "Hey Jordan" Colby said sitting across from me Sam next to him "Have you guys heard about Jade's party?" Maddie asked "Um yeah are you guys going?" Sam asked "Yeah you should totally come man" Caspien said "Yeah okay" Sam said "OH MY GODDDDDDDDDD Is that all we talk about now?" I asked aggravated "Okay we can talk about something else" Maddie said raising her eyebrow and looking at me and Colby "i'll be right back" Sam said "K" we all said Colby looked at me and smiled "what?" I said smiling back "This" he said grabbing a small tomato and throwing it at me "COLBY!!" I said laughing i grabbed a grape and threw it at him We both laughed "OMGGG CAN YA'LL JUST DATE ALREADYYYY" Maddie yelled "We're just friends Maddie" i said rolling my eyes sad. "Yeah she's like a sister to me" he said shaking my shoulder i smiled fakely and poked my food with my fork. We all talked for the rest of lunch. As i was walking out Colby ran up beside me "Hey what's up?" He asked "oh nothing just going to class" i said not making eye contact He turned me around and made me look him in the eyes "it's nothing really." I said "Jordan-"
"Colby i really have to go to class" i said and walked away. He'll always see me as Sam's Sister. I didn't pay attention at all in Chemistry. I just kept thinking and replaying those words. "She's like a sister to me."
After school...
I grabbed my stuff and slammed my locker shut. Sam and Colby ran up to me "Dude Chicken nuggets are wayyyy better than Chicken strips" Colby said to Sam "There's no way" Sam said back i chuckled they were talking about sonething strange "Jordan agrees with me" Colby said pointing at me "Whatttt noooo" i said dramatically We all walked to Colby's car. "I CALL SHOTGUN" i said hopping in "NOOOO" sam yelled running after me. He lost. Sam and Colby hopped in the car. Soon we arrived home. "Bye Colby" i said hopping out waving. "Byeee" he said in a weird voice. Typical Colby. I hopped out and ran inside along with Sam. "I'll be upstairs" i called out "okay" he said walking into the kitchen i got into a oversized t-shirt and some comfy shorts. I decided to turn on youtube on my t.v i watched youtube for like 3 hours. But i got a phone call Maddie🤘

"Hello?"

"JORDAN I'm coming over and we're getting ready for the party"

"I'm not even sure i want to go"

"Why not?"

"There's no reason to, it's not like Colby will ever see me as anything other than Sam's little sister."

"what? No Jordan you have to come. It'll be fun i promise"

"Maddie i really don't want to"

"I'll be over in 5, we're gonna forget all about Colby and we're gonna have fun"

"But-"

"No i'll see you in a bit"

"Fine" i sighed and plopped down on my bed i heard a soft knock at my door. "Come in!" I yelled
