Chapter 33:

In a matter of seconds,
my eyes were drawn to the white frail silhouette
of a girl.

Black hair,
dark blue eyes.

She stood there,
on the edge,

waiting for the lights to turn green
again.

My heart beat fast
and my body moved on its own,

trying to make haste
for her salvation.

She just stood there,
with her head bowed down,
and eyes on her shoes,

contemplating.

Chapter 34:

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs,
struggling to escape the car and run over to her.

"No, no, no, no, no..."

I kept muttering,
desperately attempting to break free from my seat.

Tears went down my cheeks
and I lost track of my surroundings,

my only focus—

the girl on the other side of the pavement.

"You can't do this, pleasepleaseplease."

Tension kept building up
and I relentlessly tried to push open the door
which refused to budge

altogether.

Chapter 35:

I was stuck in the car,
desperately striking the window
and screaming indistinctly.

"The heck is wrong with him?!"

The two officers looked at each other in confusion,
stunned by my sudden actions.

"LET ME OUUUT!!"

I yelled and cried,

"Let me out!"

Hitting the window with my fists,

repeating these words over and over again,

"I need to save her..."

over

and

over

"Let me out..."

again

and

again.

"The hell's gotten into him?!"

They turned in their seats, trying to grab a hold of me,

"Hey, calm down!!"

Until the glass shattered down.
