Chapter 12

One week later

DRE POV
While I am at home changing my clothes and showering I got all calling telling me that they caught the guy and have him at the trap so I shot a text to Jada letting her know that i won't be coming to the hospital till later

Jada: Alright

I grabbed everything I needed and I drove straight to the trap.When I got there I could hear the screams of the guy. I chuckled to myself and made my way downstairs to the dungeon.

"What you saying boss" I nodded my head

"This is the nigga that hurt princess"

I made my way over to him. He had his head down. I roughly grabbed his face to see he had a swollen eye and bloody nose and a busted lip.

"So you the who has been messing with my sister"I smirked "I am going to ask you one question and if you lie I will end your life right here do you understand me"
He quickly nodded his head

"Who are you working for"

"I-i work for Maurice"once he said that I already knew.This guy had been tryna take me down for years but It never works so he thought he was smart by coming for my family.He really just made a bad move

"Why can't this nigga ever leave me alone" I said sucking my teeth "what's Maurice last name"

"It's Johnson" That rang a bell in my head but I just couldn't figure out what it was.

"Alright boys we keep down him here on till we get what we want and I want you to see if you can find some more info on this
Maurice guy"

I left the trap and made my way to the hospital.I made my way up to princess room . I walked in to see Jada sleeping with her head on princess.
"Jada"I tapped her

"Hmm"

"You want me to take you home"

"No I want to stay here"

"Alright"
I was sitting there looking at her . She looked beautiful.
"J come here"

She got up and stood in front of me I pulled her by her waist onto my lap

"You know you are really beautiful"

"Thanks" she said looking down

"Why you acting shy for ma"
She shrugged playing with her fingers

"Tell me what's up"

"Dre whatever I tell you please don't make it affect our friendship"

"I promise it won't"

"I have had a crush on you for the last 3 years but I never really said anything because I thought you see me as you little sister" she said looking me in my eyes the whole time

"Since we are being honest . I have always liked you I just never had the courage to tell you because I thought it would be weird to date my lil sister best friend but after awhile I didn't care and just let my feelings be"
She looked at me smiling. I leaned in and began to kiss her but it was quickly interrupted by Xavier

"Ohh shit was I interrupting something?"he said looking back and forth between us

I cleared my throat "No"

"Ok , anything new on princess"

"They said she is making progress but that's it really"

"Ohh we all know that she will pull through this" I nodded agreeing with him

We all just sitting there and talking until we was told that visiting times was over. Xavier left leaving me and jada

We both went to 2 seater and sat down. Within 30 minutes Jada was out. She had her head in my lap.I just sat there staring into to space just thinking about my mother and much I miss her. I got tired so I just closed my eyes and fell asleep.
