Cesc swallowed as he sat in the hospital corridor, he had never felt this nervous in his entire life and it scared him that this was finally happening; the last eight months had been perfect in his mind and this was meant to make things even better.

“Cesc what are you doing out?” Carlota asked as she approached her older brother, she raised an eyebrow at him as she knew that he had been excited for the birth of his second child with Belina, so she was confused why Cesc wasn’t with her right now.

The footballer shifted as he looked at his sister, he had thought he’d been prepared for the birth of his third child and he’d been with Daniella when she’d had Lia without a problem; however he had a problem with seeing Belina in pain.

“I needed a break… it’s hard to see her like that,” Cesc replied as he ran a hand through his hair, his mind kept drifting back to the day that Lia had been born and how much different it was to now; he couldn’t believe that his daughter was a year old.

Daniella still attempted to cause Cesc a little grief when he went to collect their daughter, she hadn’t been pleased to hear that he was engaged to Belina; but slowly things were getting better on that front with Daniella spending quite a bit more time in London with her older children.

“Just think you’ll have a newborn soon,” Carlota said as she sat down next to her brother and wrapped her arm around him in comfort; the couple had decided not to find out what they were having even though they both had the suspicions about what their baby would be.

Cesc nodded his head as the midwife popped her head out of the private hospital room and smiled at him; it was finally time for Belina to have the baby.

“I told you,” Belina said with a tired smile on her lips, she looked at Cesc who chuckled and nodded his head as he held their newborn son; the brunette was slightly amused that she had been right about them having a boy.

The footballer felt amazing as he held his son, he knew that there was nothing that could take away from this right now; there were none of the negative feelings that he’d had when his daughter had been born and he knew now that he would never regret anything with his fiancée.

“Zachary Fàbregas Gomez,” Cesc whispered as if enchanted by his son’s name, he smiled to himself knowing that he couldn’t be happier than what he was right now; the only day that could possibly contend was his wedding day, which was still quite a long time away.

The couple weren’t going to rush their engagement and Belina had made it clear that she at least wanted a year after their son’s birth before she even considered starting to plan their big day; she wanted to make sure that Cesc didn’t change his mind at any point.

“Knock, Knock,” Carlota said as she stepped into the hospital room holding Lia in her arms, she smiled at her brother as she led Alejandro into the room; she knew that the couple didn’t just have to think about their newborn but their existing children as well.

Cesc handed the newborn back to his mother before he moved to greet his sister, he smiled as he carefully took Lia into his arms while Alejandro moved to sit next to his mother and stare at his baby brother.

“He’s so small,” the seven year old whispered making Cesc chuckle and nod his head, he knew that this was his perfect family and he wouldn’t change anything for the world.

The footballer moved to sit down next to Belina as he showed Lia, her new baby brother knowing that while she wasn’t his fiancée’s child; the brunette had welcomed his daughter with open arms.

Belina had known that she’d have to interact with Lia when she stayed with them, she wasn’t going to shut her out just because she didn’t like her mother; she was determined to be a better person than Daniella in that respect.

“This is your brother Zachary,” Cesc said as he introduced Lia to her brother, he could see that she was sort of confused and he was grateful that Daniella was currently away so she couldn’t turn his daughter away from him.

Belina smiled as she brushed her fingers carefully against the tuff of hair on top of Zachary’s head, she knew that he’d had his father’s dark locks just like his older brother and sister; she just couldn’t believe how luck she was right now.

Neither of the couple had ever thought that this was where their story would led and that they would end up back together again with a happy family around them; they had left the past behind them knowing that they wouldn’t change anything for the world.

THE END.
