I woke yup the next morning getting ready to look for Kevin when I heard the door slam.

I got up and checked. Kevin siting on the counter drinking a glass of orange juice.

"Where the hell have you been? you got me looking for you even Bay was helping me. You should really talk to her she likes you and your blowing her off". I told him.

"First off I saw ya so maybe she found a new man and get off my back. I don't need to tell you where I was at. You didn't tell me where you went when mom was sent to the hospital". He saw us.

"There's nothing between Bay and I and yeah you do need to tell me cause I'm now your legal guardian".

"I'm 17 now so in a nothing year from today you won't me my guardian".

"Well until then you listen to me"! I raised my voice and Kevin stormed off.

We haven't been in arguments in a long time before our parents died. Maybe that's why, but he has no right to do what he is doing.

I called Payton.

"Payton Kevin came back he didn't tell me where he was but thanks for trying to find him".

"Your welcome and don't pressure him he will talk when he's ready".

"What? I can't do that he will tell me and I will find a way bye".

Kevin's pov

I can't catch a break and the girl I like seems to be into my brother damn with everyone. I'm so mad I do want to call Bay back but what for just when my mind was wondering more deeper into my thoughts Bay called.

"Yes" I say into the phone might sounding a bit harsh.

"Is everything ok"? she asked trying to be all supportive.

"Why don't you go be with your boyfriend". I tell her.

"What that's the reason why I called you. I broke up with him for you".

"It seems like you have a thing for my brother. For now were just being friends.

"Kevin ". was what I heard when I ended the call.

I've been riding the train listening to music on my phone to get my mind off of things.

I whispered ' mom i miss you ' even though she's not home she's still here some how .
