“No heavy lifting,” Gerard scowled as he glared at Belina, he knew that the brunette was expecting and he wasn’t going to allow her to do anything that she shouldn’t; he was almost as protective as Cesc was about her.
The brunette rolled her eyes as she glared at her friend, she wasn’t used to being stopped from doing anything but she knew that they were right; she was seven weeks pregnant and Cesc didn’t want anything to happen to her or their baby.
“So how are you feeling?” Lionel asked as he appeared, he had been roped in to helping Cesc and Belina move into their new home; he was pleased that this time his friend was determined to do the right thing for once.
Cesc always seemed to have a way of messing things up and Lionel had worried that he would make a mistake when it came to his third child; he had dumped Belina when she was pregnant with Alejandro and his relationship had ended with Daniella while Lia was only months old.
“I’m fine… it’s not as if I haven’t done all this before,” Belina muttered annoyed as she glared at her boyfriend, she didn’t know why he was being so protective right now; he was starting to worry her.
The brunette knew that it had something to do with the fact that he had missed out on her pregnancy with Alejandro, he didn’t want to miss out on any part of this one.
Gerard chuckled as he walked past the brunette and started to take boxes down to the van that they had borrowed for the move; Cesc was clearly protective and no one was more surprised than his best friends.

Belina smiled as she watched Alejandro run into their new home, they had moved a lot in the past few months and she hoped that this was the final time that they did so; the apartment was already on the market and it was clear that it would go soon.
Cesc wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled as he kissed her softly, the four bedroom house was perfect for them and he couldn’t wait to settle in; he wanted to be able to concentrate on Belina’s pregnancy with their second child.
“What do you think?” the footballer asked as he pressed a kiss to her lips, he couldn’t believe that he had gotten a second chance; a chance that he wasn’t going to mess up this time.
Cesc knew that if he lost Belina this time then there wouldn’t be another chance and that was the last thing that he had wanted; he wouldn’t admit it to the brunette but he had done a lot of thinking recently and he knew that he needed to show her that he was serious this time.
“I think we’ll need to order dinner… I have no idea which of the boxes are the kitchen ones,” the brunette teased as she pulled back from him, she smiled as he chuckled and nodded his head; he still had a few days left before he was due back a training and he wanted to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend and children.
Daniella was going to drop Lia off in a couple of days before she went to London to spend the New Year with her other children; she was still making things difficult for Cesc and he was glad that she would be gone for a week.
“Okay… I’m sure we can find a menu or something,” Cesc said as he led his girlfriend into the house and looked over the boxes; he was dreading the fact that they would need to unpack and he knew that it was going to take some getting used to.
The footballer wanted to make this the home where they raised their children, it was closer to their son’s school and a little away from the house that Daniella now lived in; Cesc knew that his ex-girlfriend was a threat to his new start with Belina.
“I’ll go and check on Alex… you can ask Geri and Leo to stay for dinner,” the brunette said as she kissed his lips, she was grateful that they had helped them move and she knew they’d want feeding for their help.
Cesc rolled his eyes knowing that she was right, even if he did want to spend some time with her and Alejandro alone.

Belina smiled as she watched Alejandro playing a video game with Gerard and Lionel, she knew that the two adored the son of their best friend; they were helping him rebuild his confidence after the bullying that he had suffered.
The brunette moved back to the kitchen and took a deep breath, Alex would finally have his cast removed just before the New Year and she was sort of relieved that, that reminded would be gone.
Belina looked around the kitchen and at the boxes that lay inside, she knew that tomorrow was going to be a busy day and she’d have to unpack everything if they were to get anywhere with starting their new home.
“You okay?” Cesc asked as he approached his girlfriend, he had noticed her slip away and followed after her concerned; the last thing he wanted was for something to her while she was carrying his child.
The brunette jumped as she turned to face him, she had thought he hadn’t noticed that she had left the room; she looked at him as he pulled her into his arms.
“I’m fine,” Belina reassured him, she tilted her head wondering what had bothered him that much that he had followed after her; she felt him rest a hand on her still flat stomach and searched her eyes.
The brunette sighed as she realised what he was worried about, she shook her head as she kissed him on the lips; she knew that he was frightened about her losing the baby but everything seemed to be going well right now.
“We are fine Cesc,” Belina comforted him, she wrapped her arms around him knowing that there was something plaguing him; she didn’t want him to worry about her or the baby like this.
“I know… I just can’t help but worry,” the footballer whispered as he held her close, he didn’t want to tell her about the horrible dreams that he had been having as of late; they plagued him at night and he often awoke in a sweat.
Belina looked at him worried, there was clearly something on his mind and she knew that he was only going to become more protective as time went on; she had a feeling that she would end up snapping at him if he didn’t tell her what was bothering him.
“Cesc?” Belina asked softly as she pulled back and looked at him concerned, she ran her fingers through his hair; he had been doing so well since they had told his parents that they were expecting and it was only the last few days that he had started to act like this.
Cesc buried his head into her neck, he pressed a kiss to the skin knowing that he couldn’t tell her what he dreamed about; it would only break her heart if she knew that he dreamt of the loss of their unborn child, their little girl.
“It’ll be okay… whatever plagues you, it will be okay,” Belina said softly as she hugged him, she wished that there was some way that she could easy his mind; she hoped that in time he would calm down and that he would tell her what bothered him so much.
“I can’t lose you or our little girl,” Cesc said gently as he looked at Belina, the brunette stared at him confused; she didn’t know what he was talking about since it was a little too early to know what they were having.
