After we all made it through airport security, people began going their separate ways. As Niall's flight was called I stood up and pulled him into a hug. "I'm going to miss you, Nialler."
"I'll miss you too, Gem," he breathed back. He planted a quick peck on my cheek and the rest of the boys went in for a group hug. "I'll text you all every day! I promise!" He called over his shoulder as he walked towards his gate.
"You better!" Louis yelled back.
We all settled back into our seats since our flight for London didn't board for another half an hour. Even though there were several members of the security team surrounding us, I couldn't help but feel self conscious because of all the people snapping pictures on their phones.
Zayn was listening to music and Louis was playing on his Nintendo. Harry and I hadn't spoken since he'd yelled at me this afternoon. It was him who eventually broke the silence. "I'm sorry I was so mean to you, Gemma."
"That's alright, Haz. You were just worried about Zayn," I replied, smiling at him. "So do you have any big plans for your break?"
He shrugged. "My sister is coming to visit for a few days. And I think I'm going to do a bit of house hunting."
"You're moving out of the complex?" I gasped. "What about Louis?"
"Well he has Eleanor... and I have all the other girls..." he grinned.
"I remember. You brought one home the first day I met you."
"And Niall was too drunk to make it up to his flat," he reminisced, chuckling. "What an impression we must have made on you."
"Then the next morning Liam walked in on Zayn and I spooning on the couch. I don't think I've ever been so flustered in my entire life," I laughed. " But seriously, Haz. What are we going to do without you? Who's going to cook for us?"
"I know you're a more than competent cook!" He laughed. "Besides, are you and Zayn really going to stay in that tiny flat when you have twins?"
"I wouldn't exactly call it tiny!" I scoffed.
"Maybe not, but don't you want a house for your kids?"
I glanced at Zayn who was just drifting into a sleep. "I don't know. We haven't really talked about what's going to happen when they're actually born. We've mostly been focused on what's going on with us right now." I noticed that I was twirling the ring around my finger and I made myself stop.
"Have you guys talked about setting a date?" Harry asked. "Because you should probably call management about our schedule."
"It's going to be a while. I'm not getting married with this belly, and it's only going to get bigger!" I rubbed my stomach as I spoke, hoping that the twins would continue their current trend of stillness.
"So are you thinking next summer? We have a tour next year so we're in America for pretty much the whole summer."
"It'll only take a weekend!" I protested. "You must have one weekend off!"
"I'm sure we do, but you'll have to talk to management about when that is. And I'll have to call up a tuxedo shop, because I'm going to be devastated if I'm not the ring bearer."
"Well I assumed you were going to be a groomsmen, but talk to Zayn," I laughed.
Harry's face lit up. "You guys really want me in the wedding?"
"Like I said, talk to Zayn. But I would be shocked if you four weren't all involved."
They called our flight and Louis pulled down Zayn's headphones and yelled into his ear. "ZAYNIE BRAINY TIME TO GET ON THE AIRPLAINY!"
