A few days had already passed since Yuu had established a shaky sort of connection with the men who took him in. He learned of the kind man's name as Knuckle and the second man he had met alongside G. as Giotto and even the man who had played the RPG world with him in the garden as Alaude. He had also kept to his vow and became attentive to the words that the men spoke to each other, nothing popped out as of yet but he was able to distinguish various words from the overall nonsense.

His relationship with Daemon was always a strained one. Ironically it was also the relationship where he learned the most words without meaning. Daemon would often amuse himself by poking at his cheeks, ruffling his hair and picking him up constantly without warning. Yuu had figured that if he wasn't going to cease with natural causes, and be buried alongside his multitude of games, he was surely going to die of a heart attack with the cause being Daemon himself.

He could just ignore the feeling of gratitude towards him.

They fed him a lot, Yuu was always forced to eat his vegetables, pampered him, the maids would often be seen swarming around him, dragged him around, Giotto declared in his nonsense about something and Yuu would always see this particular scenario end with G. dragging Giotto off.

In short he was having a good time.

          With the lack of speech.

Knuckle scolded him when he did something wrong on the days he went down to church, the butlers tried to give him lessons, though he ended up spacing out through them all. Sometimes Alaude would keep him around, though the company worked out as Yuu was far too smitten with the handcuffs the man carried.

It was the next day when Yuu had been introduced to another man. This one with green hair, far too bright to call it Lime. The man stared down at Yuu as he was being introduced by Giotto, he kept a hand on Yuu's head.

     He didn't mind, honestly.

He was just far too intrigued with the other.

With his bright hair and all.

Yuu compared him the others. He seemed to be expressive like G. and could sometimes manage a non-expressive Alaude. Though he flawed in exercise that Knuckle excelled in every morning, later he would witness how he could pull a Daemon when setting up a prank for G. specifically. Overall, though, the bright green haired man was lazy, just like Giotto when he didn't want to pick up the quill.

Yuu's eyes grew big and round.

They sparkled in awe and admiration.

He really liked the man with bright hair.

He felt that he could see himself in him. That's all it took, after learning of the man's name to be Lampo with no R, for Yuu to follow him around as a duckling would do to their mothers. He would go with him everywhere, sneak into his room, wait for him outside the washroom, be fascinated with the way he ate and sat and slept.

At times though, Yuu would lose sight of Lampo and he would grow sad and depressed. But whenever the man entered is field of vision, he ran up to him calling out his name. "Rampo! Rampo!"

Lampo's expression changed so often it was hard for Yuu to see every single one, but he would rejoice when the man gave him a lopsided smile with an awkward pat on his head. "Lampo,"

It took time for Yuu to shed the R from Lampo's name, as he continued to follow the man around constantly. Lampo would sometimes take his hand and take him out to town, he was treated to ice cream and walks around parks before taken back.

He especially loved napping with him.

Sometimes sprawled across his chest.

Other times right beside him.

One time, Yuu found G. scolding Lampo harshly. It was a common scene, but the difference that snagged him to come to the green haired man's rescue was how conflicted he looked.

It was a far cry from his usual lazy expression.

Yuu ran up to Lampo, arms outstretched he faced G. "No! Lampo, no!"

That's as far as he got in communication.

The point did get across, however.

G. looked down at Yuu, his scowling features giving way to a frustrated sigh. He gave one last glare at Lampo, saying a few quick words, and left the two behind in the room. Yuu immediately turned towards the man, looking up at him in the way only a curious child can. Lampo gave a smile, gave him a couple pats on his head. "Thanks, kiddo,"

He didn't understand what he said.

But he didn't have to understand the warmth he felt. Yuu smiled happily as he gave him a hug.
