Chapter 50

Matéo Santiago's POV.

I wake up feeling better than I have in a long time.

Adeline is still cuddled up to me and we are both still completely naked.

Last night was...

Amazing to say the least.

I kiss her lips until she stirs and then wakes up.

Her eyes flutter open and she blinks at me a couple of times, then grins up at me.

"Good morning baby" I say.

My voice is still quite raspy from last night as you can imagine...

"Morning baby" She responds.

"What are we doing today?" I ask, as she stretches.

"Hm, whatever you want" she responds.

I'm just about to respond, when her phone rings.

"Noo, don't answer it!" I whine, with a pout.

I don't care if I sound like a little boy!

I want all of her attention!

She giggles.

"Matéo, I have to! What if it's an emergency?" She chuckles.

The phone stops ringing.

"See? It can't be that important..." I tell her smugly.

"Hey, don't give me that look" she pouts.

She looks adorable when she tries to be mad.

"Sorry my love" I respond as I lean forward to kiss her.

"Hey, apologies aren't going to- -" she starts, but stops, when I press my lips against hers.

She runs her hands through my hair and tugs at it from the roots, making me groan.

I grab her wrists and pin them above her head.

"Be careful baby" I warn her.

She giggles.

I smirk at her and then kiss her neck teasing the sweet spot making her moan.

I grab her hands and then entwine my fingers with hers and kiss her, biting her bottom lip, demand entrance, which she gives me.

I groan lowly, as her phone starts to ring again.

She pulls away from me.

"Baby, I need to get that" she tells me and I nod, releasing her hands.

She picks up her phone and holds it to her ear.

"Hello?" She asks.
...

"Yeah, what bout her?"

...
"You're fucking with me"

.....

"I'll be there by tomorrow"

She says and then she hangs up.

She presses her face into the heels of her hands and sighs.

"What's wrong amore?" I ask her.

"That was Elijah" she says.

I nod, willing her to continue.

"He says he wants me to meet him for something 'important' regarding Eleanor" she tells me.

"So what are we going to do?" I ask her.

"I'm flying out to New York, tomorrow" she says with a shrug.

"Ok, I'll come with you" I tell her and She nods.

"Wait, who's gonna look after the gang, while we're away?" She asks, concerned.

I can't help but smile.

They all seem to love her and vice versa.

"I'll get Seb and Jerome to look after things" I tell her simply.

She nods and gets up.

"Let's get packing, then" she says.

She puts on a robe and heads to the bathroom.

I grab on my grey sweats from last night and then follow her in.

She leans over the sink slightly to wash her face and the robe rides up her body a bit.

I catch myself analysing her body from head to toe slowly.

God, she's so beautiful. I could just- -

I cut myself off.

After last night, all I can think of is having her in the worst possible ways...

She catches me staring in the reflection of the mirror and smiles shyly.

"You all good there, babe?" She says.

Her eyes glide down to my waist and then back to my face.

I look down and then realise why.

He's a little excited.

When isn't he?

I groan under my breath and I must be blushing, because she giggles.

Funny, huh?

I walk up right behind her and lean forward to grab my toothbrush and I rub my my hips against her ass.

She turns to face me.

"You really want attention, huh?" She asks, with a smirk.

I nod and then circle my hands around her waist.

She wraps her arms around my neck and talks softly.

"You like attention, baby?" She asks, then she kisses my neck gently, sucking a little.

I hum a yes and pull her closer.

I move my hands down south and squeeze her gently.

She pulls away slightly and grins at me.

She says nothing, but gets on her knees pulling down my sweats.

Well so much for packing up early...
